I booked this hotel at the very last minute, as my flight timings has been changed by the airline. Although we only stayed here for a few hours, it was a very memorable stay. The staff was extremely courteous and welcoming. The pho that ate for breakfast was one of the best we had on our entire 10 day trip. Clean and aesthetic rooms.

Ok, let's start with the good. Clean rooms, good breakfast. Now as for as advertised city view, a view of the nothing but walls a roofs. Memory beds, the only memory is the old fashioned springs sticking through the memory foam padding they have put on top. Any complaints to management went no where as they didn't want to listen. We actually checked out a day early because I didn't sleep for two nights on those awful mattresses. This hotel is not as advertised on the website.

Stay here. Found this at last minute for surprise layover in Hanoi. Service is impeccable. Fresh watermelon juice given to you when you step through door. Very modern rooms with unique shower and toilet behind glass doors but there is a curtain for privacy. Beds were the most comfortable I've found in Asia. Room was oddly warm but as soon as we told front desk, it was taken care of. My favorite was the freshly squeezed juices. You must try! Can't recommend this place highly enough.

Great value for money hotel in a good location. Service could not have been more friendly and extremely large room was spotlessly clean. Tour desk manager was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and ogrganised our Halong Bay cruise at a good price and on a top boat,"Galaxy". Good Bia Hoi just around the corner.

We just loved this place and the service was amazing. It was well priced and the breakfast (included) was good. The staff was so amazing--arranging free showers after to our Sapa trekking to a surprise birthday cake for my daughter. I am an expat living in Saigon and have chosen to stay at this hotel in Hanoi 3 times now. I honestly could not fault it! For 52 dollars through Expedia it is awesome!! The beds were sooooo comfy, this is rare in Vietnam! The compact hotel is clean, provides a really good break fast, great wifi and it was peaceful and hassle free. The staff were so sweet and friendly and would do anything for you. Their English was great and knew how to look after their customer. I was looking forward to getting back from our trip up North to stay here again! This hotel is fantastic!

This hotel is in a great part of Hanoi, most things are within walking distance or a short taxi ride. That's not the main reason that makes this hotel special, the staff go out their way to make you feel at home, Huong and Thao(hope I have the spelling correct) we're very helpfully and always asking to see if we needed anything arranged. Huong even went as far as offering us to shower even though we didn't have a room booked on our return from Halong Bay. She also came out of the hotel to see us of when we left, it is the small things that make the memories. Thank you for memories Huong and Thao.

J’ai récemment séjourné dans ce charmant petit hôtel dans le vieux quartier de Hanoi. L’emplacement est génial et toutes les principales choses à voir / faire à Hanoi sont facilement accessibles à pied. La chambre était immense avec un grand lit et une grande salle de bain et était charmante et propre. Le WiFi a bien fonctionné dans tout l’hôtel. Ce qui a rendu l’hôtel encore meilleur, c’est le personnel adorable. Tout le monde était plus qu’heureux d’aider et aussi très compétent. Je recommanderais (et j’ai) cet hôtel à un prix très raisonnable à tout le monde.

Our 11-day holiday in Hanoi was truly a wonderful experience - thanks to the exceptional service and hospitality of all the staff at the Royal Palace Hotel. A beautiful cooked breakfast; clean and comfortable rooms with WiFi, and staff that excelled in ensuring that our holiday in Hanoi remains as one of our most memorable events. From Airport taxi pickup to organisation of various tours; from assistance onto the train to Sapa - nothing was too much trouble, and hotel management should indeed be very proud of the staff that work at this hotel. The hotel is centrally located in the Old Quarter; and provides a very affordable and friendly sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of Hanoi.

I love this hotel. Good enough for me to write a review for them. I gave them the wrong arrival time that made us 2 hours late than the time I told the hotel. Surprisingly, the shuttle car driver was still there! And after we reached the hotel, which was 4 hours earlier than check in time, we were seated in the restaurants of the hotel, served with welcome drinks and with a receptionist explained everything for us personally. My parents' room was being upgrade without any additional charge! The staffs were so helpful. Do ask them anything, they would try their best to answer you. Another thing I love about the hotel is they don't request for tips. I hate people standing in my room or hinting me to give them tips. If I ever visit Hanoi again, Royal Palace would absolutely be my first choice.

This was a very nice hotel, the staff were friendly and knowledgable - they spoke excellent english and were always available with a smile. We reserved a superior double room. The room was large and comfortable. Very clean and visually pleasing. The bed was comfortable with big pillows and extra linens available in the room. The bathroom was large and well appointed, but the water pressure is a bit low, but was not a problem. The staff helped set us up with an excellent HaLong Bay overnight cruise and worked with us to extend our room an extra night. Breakfast was very good and even offered when we came down after the scheduled hours. Excellent location in the Old Quarter. We would definitely stay in this hotel again and happily reccomend it to anyone who is going to Hanoi. They offer very reasonable pick up and departure service to the airport. Exceptional value for the money. Thanks to the staff.
