Had a very pleasant young lady welcome us. Room had everything we needed. Trying to sleep all I could hear was woman shouting "Get off me, get off me. I was concerned until I heard children running around. This went on for quite a while. Bed was comfortable, not so the pillows. Breakfast was tasty, but could have been hotter. Didn't appreciate people coming coming to breakfast in their nightwear, they are NOT at home.

It took me 30 minutes to park due to roadworks which I won't blame the hotel for. The hotel was clean but every time I flushed the toilet it would make VERY audible noise for 10/15 minutes. Bed was comphy and the whole experience was expected except the clearly drugged up woman soliciting herself.

Parking

Parking outside hotel is currently suspended so I had to use the multi storey car park next door and pay for parking. Not easy when you are disabled.I would not have booked this hotel if this had been flagged up straight away

the hotel was ok , the gave me a room just above the garbage room so seeing the garbage truck in the morning wasn't the most pleasant experience , the staff was very nice though

The reception area was nicely decorated for Christmas, the room was big, and the bathroom seemed newly renovated. However, the loo seat and the inside of the lid had splash marks that had not been wiped, the shower gel container was empty (so we had to wash with shampoo), the couch in the room had many dodgy looking stains, and the cleaning staff knocked at our door bright and early on New Year’s Day(!), despite still having over an hour before checkout. And the breakfast times were set for midweek times, despite being a bank holiday.

I didn’t get the best nights sleep as the mattress was too firm so tossed and turned all night. However, arguably that’s down to personal preference. What isn’t excusable is the fact that they had no running water in the morning so no showers. Instead of being at the front desk dealing with the guests the manager was nowhere to be seen. The lady on the front desk promised the manager would call to rectify but still waiting.

Lovely Christmas stay.

All staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, general ambience was of a fresh, clean and modern nature. My only gripe was the mattress was quite hard, and therefore uncomfortable when sleeping, but my old bones didn't help 😔. My view couldn't be helped, but it was miserable, not the fault of the hotel.
