Seneca Wine Trail Chalet -

Äskettäin laajennettu loma chalet & remontoitu keittiö keskellä Seneca Lake Wine Trail järvinäköala metsäisellä ympäristössä. Kaupungissa Hector, NY, vain kahdeksan mailia pohjoiseen Watkins Glen, itäpuolella on Seneca Lake. Tämä viiden makuuhuoneen, kolme kylpy ympäri vuoden koti nukkuu 10-12 ja on puulattiat, suuri takkahuone, ja 700 + sq. Ft. Kannelle kaunis järvi ja auringonlasku näkemyksiä. Elintilaa, kaksi makuuhuonetta ja kaksi kylpyhuonetta sijaitsevat kätevästi pääkerroksessa. Yläkerrassa on suuri makuuhuone / leikkihuone ja istuu parvi upeat näkymät järvelle ja näkymät suuri huone. Ulosmarssi alakerrassa on kaksi makuuhuonetta, täydellinen kylpyhuone ja rec room.
Beach pääsyn lyhyen kävelymatkan alas mäkeä. Jälkeen päivän vierailulla 11 viinitilat muutaman mailin, tai patikointia Watkins Glen tai Finger Lakes National Forest, Pakene tähän hiljainen pako nauttia lasillisen New York viiniä kannella, lukea kirjaa tai käydä ystävien kanssa.

We had good communication with the host. The property was very clean and well kept. Plenty of room for the 10 of us. Well stocked with basic needs. Excellent location for the Seneca wine trail. We would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

Host was a wonderful communicator, made sure our check in and check out was smooth and easy. House is beautiful, very clean and plenty of room. There were ten of us. We didn't spend much time outside as it was too cold but the deck with a view is wonderful!Parking is a little tricky if you have more than two cars, just fyi. Water had a sulfur smell at first but after running it between cooking and showers it was fine. Would definitely recommend it to others!

Paul was a wonderful host, very responsive and available if needed. There was an issue with road paving closing down the main roadway to the house, and he was super accommodating. House was a wonderful location and super relaxing, had everything we needed for a great weekend!

Excellent Location

We had our family get together at this beautiful Chalet. 6 adults and 2 children. There was an unusual heat wave during our stay so we didn’t spend much time at the pickleball court but is was nice. The A/C worked fine and kept us cool. The huge upper deck was great for sitting outdoors when it cooled down. We found a hidden gem close to the property called “Here” which serves breakfast and lunch Fri- Mon. The only thing I want to mention is the small parking area at the bottom of a narrow driveway. We had 3 cars so we ended up having to either back in or back out when parking at the bottom. Also the private beach is not adjacent to the property but that was not a problem for us since it was simply too hot to use. We had a great time at this clean and well stocked property.

This chalet was the ideal base for our bachelorette weekend in Hector's Wine Country. The property was precisely as advertised, and we found everything to be in perfect order. Paul was great with communication leading up to our stay, and fortunately, we didn't need to reach out during our trip. The self check-in was particularly convenient, especially with multiple people arriving at different times. We loved the stunning views of Seneca Lake from the property and only wish we could have extended our stay beyond the weekend.

This was a great place for myself and 5 friends. It is spacious, well maintained, and beautifully furnished with a great view. Everything one needs in the kitchen is there. A good location for visiting the many wineries. The owner is very accommodating also.

Girls Trip

Lovely location close to many wineries and an easy drive to Watkins Glen or Ithaca. Plenty of beds, seating and a large kitchen. Enjoyed the fire pit. We had two issues (water and plumbing) which were inconvenient for us, but Paul was easy to communicate with and quick to address them.

While the house is accurate according to the listing, what is not visible is the sewer smell being covered up with household cleaning products (smell possibly emanating from the septic tanks). In addition there were an excessive amount of gnat like fruit flies, even in the bedroom.

Loved the view. Beds were comfortable, baths were clean.. There was a problem that the owner addressed immediately.. Directions to the dock were not clear, and it was a difficult walk to get there. Overall we e joyed the area and the location..

Perfect Family Getaway in a Quiet and Spacious Location

We absolutely loved our stay at this property! The location was wonderfully quiet, and we made great use of the tennis, basketball, and pickleball courts. The property was easy to find, impeccably clean, and incredibly welcoming. The hosts were very responsive and communicated clearly, making our stay even more enjoyable. The property itself was massive, offering plenty of space for our family to spend quality time together. We highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a peaceful and spacious retreat.

We were not disappointed!! Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here. We all agreed we would definitely return and recommend this property to anyone coming to the area!! Couldn’t have asked for better communication with the owner Paul! Beds were comfy, kitchen was well stocked with basics and there is plenty of room for a large group. We were disappointed to find out only weeks ahead of our July 4th weekend stay that the back deck would not be available during our time there, and that’s definitely a big draw for this property. The owner did make an adjustment, but hopefully they are able to fix it soon so that others can enjoy the deck. The view of the lake is definitely better before the trees are full of leaves but you can still enjoy the lake peeking through the trees!! The walk to the “beach isn’t too bad, but we had a member of our party with some mobility/stamina issues and it was a little bit of a struggle for him. I would definitely recommend driving down to the area at the top of the stairs if anyone in your party has similar issues. There are plenty of wineries/breweries within a few miles of this property and it’s only about a 25 minute drive from Watkins Glen. Oodles of places to eat and things to do nearby!
