A wonderful suite in the castle. The castle is wonderful. The staff are really friendly. An added bonus is the free tour of the castle, going into the history of the place and the owners overf the centuries.

The stay here was magnificent, the rooms were even better than we anticipated, there is nothing to note down about this hotel. The atmosphere flows from the time you check in and shown to your room, the drawing room to sip late night drinks in front of a fire. To taking you down for dinner. The hotel is very cosy - the lounge in the evening is just so special! The rooms are very comfortable, the beds great, the bathrooms very clean and nicely designed. The original gothic features everywhere are fantastic and the ambience is fairytale! The staff are great, welcoming and very professional (thanks, Tom, for the tour!). Food is excellent. The location is very convenient for local excursions, and the road is good with easy access. Highly recommended, and we’ll be back!! (Drove 300 miles all the way from London to experience this!.
