Good if you don’t look at the floor!

The room was small, which we expected. Beds comfortable. But the carpet was filthy with multiple stains, disgusting really, which makes you question the overall cleanliness of the room. And the water pressure in the shower was too much for my liking, although my husband enjoyed it. Location was good and there were restaurants nearby. We appreciated the coffee and breads and muffins offered in the morning.

Could have been OK but the room was not very clean

I was kind of disapointed by the state of this hotel. The room was worn out. the carpet was stained and patched, walls crumbling. We were a group with 4 rooms total but only one seems to have been in better shape, the rest was not. Look at the picture for reference. I should have asked for another room but since it was only for one night, I decided to take it nonetheless. Don't walk barefoor on these floors!

They have a strict check in time so don’t arrive before 3pm. The front was very nice. Our room did have stains on the carpet and holes in the comforter. When we first entered the room there was a slight BO smell. Would still come back for a night due to great location and service.

I don’t understand why this hotel has such a high rating on Expedia. The twin room we stayed at was small (even by Japanese budget hotel standards), and the carpet looked old and dirty. We stayed at the Comfort Hotel before moving to this hotel, thinking that this was a nicer and newer hotel. It turned out the Comfort Hotel, which was only half the price of this one, was better in every aspect.
