Detention centre dismay

We felt like we had been lied to. Access was very difficult especially with someone who has arthritic knees. The driveway was not useable as it was so steeply sloping down. We were not advised about it until the day of arrival and the description was nowhere near the reality. The accomodation was very basic, no toilet roll holder and one towel hook. There is a bad stain in the toilet basin. No teaspoons, no bread knife. No communal area except the verandah which does have a great view. The photo in the add is the only thing that was actually true Only problem was the chair and table were filthy. No cleaning spray, paper towels, napkins or tissues were provided. The place didn’t look like it had been cleaned. We even questioned if the sheets had been changed. We found a mug in the microwave that was half filled with mouldy tinned spaghetti.When there were other guests on the floor above it was very noisy. You can hear clearly people talking and walking around. Not impressed and would not stay again

Great views

The accommodation has lovely views over the city. The owner was very responsive in answering text messages. A couple of things to note: if you don’t have a car it’s a steep walk to shops, places to eat etc. some Uber drivers found it hard to find. There are two bedrooms and a kitchenette but no communal space to sit or eat or watch TV etc, the only option at night or if raining etc is to sit in one of the bedrooms. This was fine for us but might be inconvenient for some people. Otherwise lovely place to stay. Thrfe
