Welcome to our vacation home, “Almost Heaven”! We believe you will agree with our name once you visit this gem on Anna Maria Island! Our recently completely renovated 3BR/2BA ocean-view condo is in the heart of Anna Maria Island. With private beach access, lighted tennis/pickleball courts, a private balcony, and one of the largest heated pools on Anna Maria, you will love all that Almost Heaven and Gulf Place has to offer. Gulf Place is a small, thoughtfully designed, and carefully maintained condo complex that offers guests a beach vacation to remember. There is an on-site manager to ensure that our guests have an enjoyable stay.

Our spacious end unit was completely updated at the beginning of 2024 to provide all the modern comforts in a relaxed beach atmosphere. There are views of the Gulf from the spacious living room and private balcony. Our unit’s balcony is ideally located in the most shaded and breezy location of the entire complex. Enjoy views of the Gulf over the heated pool in shaded comfort, or take a stroll down the stairs from your porch to the pool and private deck overlooking the beautiful turquoise waters of Florida’s Gulf Coast. From the private deck, you can access the white, sugary beaches of Anna Maria Island, where you can walk for miles, take a swim, look for dolphins, or search for seashells. If your timing is right, you may even see a nesting or hatching sea turtle.

Our 3BR/2BA condo is one of the most spacious on the island. The master bedroom has a comfortable king-size bed, television, closet, and a private bathroom with a shower. One guest bedroom has a queen-sized bed, television, and closet, while the second bedroom has a closet and a queen-sized bed with a twin bunk bed, allowing couples or children to enjoy this great layout. The guest bedrooms share a newly renovated guest bath with a tub. Note that we have a 6-person maximum occupancy (including children), which is strictly enforced.

The newly remodeled living room is spacious and furnished with comfort being the top priority! Enjoy watching your favorite show on the large screen TV from one of the comfortable reclining sofas or have your dinner on the large dining room table while watching the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico. We have even supplied games and puzzles for the whole family to enjoy! Free Wi-fi is also included!

As an end unit, our living room and all the bedrooms enjoy views of the beautiful outdoors. The bedrooms, guest bath, and living room were completely updated. The condo is completely furnished with all the amenities you would expect to have an enjoyable stay for a week or months. A fully updated and equipped kitchen, laundry room with washer and dryer, extra refrigerator, linens, towels, and beach chairs are provided! Just pack your beachwear and sunglasses, and we will take care of the rest!

Almost Heaven is ideally located in Holmes Beach, the heart of Anna Maria Island. There is private parking if you bring a car, but why bother as Anna Maria has a free trolley and other free transportation services that stop right outside. Although many shops, restaurants, and pubs are within walking distance, you can visit all that Anna Maria’s 7 miles of beaches have to offer with these free services! Our lovely island has a variety of food choices and many cuisines to suit any taste., from cafes and pubs to fine dining. Many local restaurants and nightspots offer live music nightly. Our favorite being the Freckled Fin Irish Pub, within walking distance. Truly, there is something for everyone!

We are dedicated to you having a wonderful vacation. We live less than a mile away, and as premier VRBO hosts, we will ensure that your stay at “Almost Heaven” exceeds your expectations!

You are vacationing in a residential area. Please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property. City of Holmes Beach Noise Ordinance: Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Excessive noise or disturbances may result in fines and/or eviction without refund.

Maximum occupancy is 6 people (infants and children are people too), 2 vehicles on site, and a 7-night minimum stay (Saturday check-in/out unless otherwise agreed upon). Renters must complete the Gulf Place renter application and follow Gulf Place check-in procedures. Unless otherwise agreed check-in and check-out days are on Saturday only.
