Location Location and Location. Central to every things. Complimentary a la cart coffee machine is great. You can make Cappuccino, espresso etc. If you have 2 specialty coffees a day, That is about $HK 130 free right there. Small but nice and comfortable. What size you expect in HK right?

We stayed at the Butterfly for 3 nights in early November, 2025. Hotel has a great location, as well as a friendly and helpful staff. However, to rate this hotel as 4 star is a significant stretch. Middle 3 stars at best. The rooms are older, small, and poorly lit. They are short on modern conveniences like USB and electrical outlets, and the amenities few (provided in the lobby). Overall this place is sort of OK, nothing great about it except location, but acceptable in a basic kind of way.

Yes the room was spotless. However my short stay was marred by a ‘faused fire alarm” alert sound in the corridor in the evening. I called the receptionist at once and was assured there was no real fire! At least the safety equipment was (malfunctioning) working! Other than that my stay was fine.

Room was very small. I paid extra for superior room. Not worth extra cost. Room was very old. You had no direct coffee or water, reception was 5th floor and room was on 5th. Had to get water from reception. It showed pocket 4g wifi given to use. That was not available or offered as per site.

The best thing about this hotel is absolutely the location. Walking distance to Central and Hong Kong MTR. Sooo many good dining choices right next to the hotel. Staff were fantastic. I was alone with a very large suitcase and needed to get to the airport express train. The staff member gave me a route option that had the lez3st amount of steps which Google was not able to do.
