I wasn't aware of the availability of breakfast. The man who I checked in with at the front counter didn't mention anything about breakfast. The washroom is a bit cramped and it took me a bit to figure out the shower faucet. There were also a few tiny bugs crawling on the bathroom floor.

The lodge was very convenient to Gatwick, the train station and the town. We had requested a ground floor room and received it along with early check in. Bathroom is tiny with no shelf space for toiletries. There were no hooks or hangers which was awkward. Maybe our expectations are different, but we had a total of one bath towel each for two nights - no hand towel or bath mat either. We did not have breakfast so can't comment on that.
