Friendly staff but room needs work..

There were issues with the room.. shower faucet not working properly.. electric socket popping when plugging a charger.. woke up to highly humid floors and walls the next morning. and the elevator needed work too.. customer service was good tho.. the receptionist was helpful and friendly at check in.. the breakfast staff was hard at work the next morning making sure everything looked good and it did.

The bathtub was dirty, had to stand on a towel to shower. The microwave didn't work properly and the room had an odor. Had to buy air freshener, that helped some. It was only for one night.

I loved being able to sit on the balcony and look out over the lake and watch the turtles swim. The pool was clean other than some bugs/small leaves floating. Need to clean up the trash in the water around the edge of the lake. Otherwise, the room and common areas were clean and well maintained. The self-service breakfast was good with several options! Will definitely stay here again!

The carpets and furniture are old and stained need replacing, the walls and trim were excessively dinged and marred, and carpets in halls were stained and dingy. Couldn't wait to leave. There was one positive. We had a lakeside room and it had a beautiful sunrise.

Dirty & Moldy

The hotel was dirty and smelled of mildew as soon as we walked in. There were cheerios and other debris along the hallway that were there when we arrived and remained at the time we checked out the following day. The room had marks on the wall from an unknown liquid dripped down two of the walls. The bathroom ceiling had mold over half of it, and water condensation on the air vent. The “lake view” was a joke from our first floor room. We were looking into a boat slip. The staff at the front desk was friendly and that was the only positive aspect of our visit. I would never stay there again. If I had realized at the time that I could leave pictures in the review, I would’ve taken them. Trust me - this place was gross.

Hotel was in a great location. Hotel staff was friendly and lobby was clean. Upon arrival to our floor the smell of marijuana was unbelievable. It was blowing in our room all night. The room had mold all over the walls and bathroom and there was dirt and particles on the floor.

I could see efforts for cleanliness during my stay. The set-up is prime for a nice lakeside experience. I notice the posted license request to serve alcohol. If Wyndham doesn't renovate this property ( not just lobby design and art) there is little chance i will return. The pool was to be a highlight for me these two days. I did not go in pool. Staff is unaware when the pool is tested and chlorinated. The pool walls and edging were so pale and neglected. No morning or day cleaning out leaves, bugs,etc of pool. My room had very few furniture pieces and was extremely echoey.

The room had a lot of moisture and humidity. Condensation on the floor. Very slick. Also on the desk and night stands. The bedding was clamey and sticky. We told the front desk and we treated poorly. We were told it was because it was by the lake. Everything else was fine. I would not recommend this hotel

The water was polluted with water bottle and other items. The early morning attendant was not at the front desk. There was hair in the restroom on the floor and the grout looked dirty. Low lightning, if you plans on hair and make up lighting. One chair besides the desk chair. Not a relaxation nor romantic hotel. The refrigerator froze our fruit and water. There was a blue replacement cord running from the the frigerator that is very visible from the desk. The curtain was old and out dated. The balcony and threshold was dirty. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Our comfort on the bed had a cut on it. I think they need to remodel.
