The staff is courteous, the rooms are clean. Great breakfast and I love the location. It is a quiet and quaint hotel with a great price. We have stayed 2 times already. 4 nights total for the 2 visits. Will be staying again in June and August.

Guests stayed up until 4 AM smoking, drinking, and were loud on outside 2nd floor patio. Complaints to the desk were given but to no avail; the lone desk clerk couldn't stop them.

Magnuson is a good, mid-expense, downtown property. We used Magnuson as a base to explore the Keweenaw Peninsula. We were pleased.

We really enjoyed our stay in Hancock. Staff was nice. No weird smells. Swam everyday. Husband loved the hottub. Breakfast was fine. Easy walk to get to places or to hop on 41 and go on an adventure. Would definately stay again.
