The staff was very nice and the hotel and room were clean. My only complaint would be the construction scaffolding in the front of the hotel.

Everything about the property its self was great. My issue was with the bar staff. I opened a tab at the bar and when closing I tried to settle up with cash. I was told that they did not accept cash, but the bar tender said he would anyway and assured me my tab was closed with no charges. I woke up the next morning to a $296 charge from the bar that was flagged by my bank as suspicious. My bank did not approve the transaction, but the result was them locking my card. The supervisor the next morning researched everything and found out that everything I claimed did actually happen. That same night the same bartender was back on duty, to say I was shocked was an understatement. Your hotel, so do what you want with your employees, but it doesn't make me feel safe in a cashless situation.

The hotel is a lovely 100 year old building and I loved the art deco vibe. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and we greatly appreciated being able to check in early as well as have our bags held after we checked out because had an event to attend. The room was clean and well stocked and the bed was really comfy. Location was very convenient to the Astros stadium, where we were going to a tournament. We ate in the hotel restaurant for one dinner and one breakfast. Service was friendly but food was overpriced and mediocre. Overall, a very nice place and would stay again in the future!

Amazing 4 night solo trip

The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. The bed was comfortable, I slept like a baby. They provide you with everything you need (soap, shampoo, conditioner). The only down side was that housekeeping was extremely loud all day. Slamming doors etc.

Had a room on the 4th floor which faces the hvac cluster and it sounded like I was in dryer alongside a bunch of steel toed boots. No sleep won’t recommend.
