As a hotel close to the airport, its great. They have a free hot and or cold breakfast which is nice. Staff were friendly, the lobby and rooms were clean. Looks like they've done some renovations. All in all, a decent stay for a night.

Their checkin desk needs training

Nice hotel. They emailed me an online checkin, which I completed. When we arrived I still had to provide id & credit card. When I told her I’d done the online checkin she said they don’t use it. They also charged the $100 “hold” so I got charged that amount plus my room rate. I called and they have to refund the $100. She said that’s how they do it but when I checked in she said it was a hold and would be released when I checked out.

I’m not picky and I’ve never had an issue with La Quinta before. This was by far the scariest, most filthy hotel I’ve stayed at. If we hadn’t just gotten off a long flight and it being passed midnight, I would have walked right out. Upon arrival, the doors were locked so we were stuck waiting for someone to notice us. Check in was “ok”. The girl at the front desk seemed very young and couldn’t answer most of my questions (directions to the room/elevator). We were travelling with an over tired child as well. We went in search of the elevator to get to our room on the second floor. We turned down a hallway and there was a pitbull running towards us off leash. As a dog lover, I know that they can be unpredictable so I had to immediately get between the dog and my child. Thankfully it was a friendly dog. It should not have been off the leash. The hallways smelled of urine. The elevator. I don’t even know how to describe it. The hallways were filthy but I never expected what we saw. That elevator should not be in service. It has a mind of its own, it was filthy and felt like it could snap. If we didn’t have all that luggage, we would have all taken the stairs instead of my husband having to take the lift. The second floor was LOUD for the middle of the night. It sounded like teenagers partying. I noticed all of the doors had a gap at the bottom. Rooms were filthy and bathrooms worse. Take my advice and stay away. You will regret booking there.

While the staff were super friendly, our room unfortunately was not in the best shape. There was dirt and dust everywhere and the water pressure in the shower was terrible. The elevator also smelled really bad. The food and dining area was clean though
