Very rude and unprofessional the bedding had holes and burn marks and stains. Roaches TV did not work.

We selected the accommodating room with the crib. Arrived to find they had given our room to someone else, they did not have a backup crib. The floors were dirty, like they had not moped. The pool was literally a green swamp. We saw drunk guys flying through the parking lot, and drugs being smoked in the parking lot. They had one ice machine for the whole property and it didn’t work.
We cancelled our reservation because the pool was nasty and told the reservation clerk we would not be staying
there because the pool on the internet was not the same
as the pool we saw at the sight. She told us she would cancel our reservation. We are filing a claim.
Fire alarm in a plastic bag dangling. No shampoo, no hand soap, and no body gel in the bottles. Phone didn’t work. Commode unstable as it was missing the two screws to bolt to the floor. Microwave jammed and had very hard time opening it. No toilet paper. Comforter had holes. Room smelled musty.
Check in went well. Room was in very poor condition, smelled really bad. The room looked as if it does not get cleaned but rather just keeps getting looked over and made to look clean enough but smells really bad. Sheets were stained so bad. Location is also very poor, we felt so uncomfortable that we had to leave and move to another hotel in a different area. This place is screaming to be shut down and renovated.
This place is a hell hole. It's crackhead infested, bug infested, stale smelling, people walking around cussing, fighting, and arguing all times of the night and day. The pool hasn't been cleaned in ages. I had to walk with the attendant to 6 different rooms before I found one almost suitable for us to stay in til the sun came up. I would advise anyone to skip the reservation or pass right on by if you ever encounter the red roof inn on East fwy in Houston Texas. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE
