Check emails for details on how to enter rooms. Key lock safe entry. Pub doesn't open till 4pm and No reply when I rang as I was going to be a little early. Room was lovely and clean. Had a small fridge and coffee and tea etc. Bathroom was just right, shower was good and it was spotless. Kudos to their cleaner. Lovely outside space to sit and drink and relax, with vending machine for can drinks and chocolate. Be aware there is not a shop in the village, the Granby does evening food and if you ask a continental breakfast. The crown and swan further up to Spurn point does food in the afternoon but not amazing quality. Staff were very friendly and helpful, food was good and reasonably priced, as were the drinks. Seemed to be a great location for cyclists as an overnight stay. Don't be put off by the refinery, Gas terminal as you drive in as it doesn't affect the village. Long walk to Spurn point from the Granby but you can drive closer, till the road stops and walk 3 miles to the lighthouse. Unfortunately due to the heat, not many birds when we went, although a seal was spotted.
