Rooms are very outdated, and hallways have wallpaper peeling etc. The outside of the property is very weedy and overgrown. No docking space for a temporary stay, we launched at another location but were unable to park the boat for a short time to load.

It was a great weekend stay! Wish we could have stayed longer! Enjoyed the beach, the lake, the pool and the ability to use the resort’s equipment to play tennis, basketball and kayak/canoe. Loved the pulled pork sandwiches!!

Pleasant stay at HV

Overall, we had a very positive experience with our stay. The beds were comfortable, and our room was clean. The resort is a little outdated. Nonetheless, the pools and beach were lovely. The atmosphere is very laid back, which we thoroughly enjoyed. In room microwaves and recycling bins would have been appreciated. Beautiful location, great daily activities, and excellent service.

The scenery and location are very nice. The food options were pretty good. The pools and aquatic facilities were clean. The wait staff in the Birches restaurant were a bit uninthusiatic, but the experience overall is good for the price.
