Overall is was a decent hotel room. But we ended up paying over $400 and the AC didn’t even work. When I called down to the front desk they didn’t offer to give us a different room and there wasn’t a tech on duty to fix the thermostat. Overall, it was a pretty bad experience. It was quiet and we did like the parking garage.

Set your expectations and you'll enjoy your stay. Expect the 2 1/2 star experience of an economy hotel, but with trendier furniture. Free breakfast is what you should expect for free breakfast; cereal, eggs/bacon, bagels, etc. Location is quiet, but also oddly located - expect a vigorous walk to get to points of interest. No front drive, so I had to park illegally in order to walk in and check in, then get my pass to get into the garage. Service and staff were friendly and helpful for our short stay. Fine for a business trip,

Stayed at Tru before the Indy Mini Marathon. It was a great location with an easy walk to the start line. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The breakfast was good enough and the snacks/drinks/toiletries were a great addition. Our AC didn't seem to be working very well (took several hours to begin to cool down at all) and when I called the front desk, I was put on hold and eventually gave up.

We enjoyed the hotel, friendly staff and delicious breakfast from 7 to 9am. Parking is $30 per day. Location is great, just only 9 blocks from Monument Circle (a must see)
