Alright
Breakfast was great not alot of people booked so instead of a buffet it was made to order but it was lush bedroom was pretty small but it was only 1 night alone so i didnt mind too much only thing that wasnt great was the 10/15 wait to check in as no one was at the desk and they had a sign saying to use there phone on the desk to ring a numver for assistance which no one answered twice which made me as an autisic peron panic but apart from that it was good

Very comfortable room staff efficient and helpful.
Location, staff, facilities are brilliant. On my first night I was allocated a room near to some stairs and unfortunately was kept awake until the early hours due to a coach party toing and froing between rooms along the corridor. The next morning the wonderful receptionist allocated me a room on the 3rd floor. Absolute bliss! Couldn’t hear a thing, and had 2 good nights sleep. We travelled by train, and this hotel is easy 10 minute walk. It’s also a couple of minutes walk to the bus stop where we got a bus to our Loch Ness cruise. It’s very close to all amenities, and in a lovely picturesque location. I will definitely stay there again.
Rooms and beds were comfortable and spotless. Excellent value for price and welcoming bar and restaurant area though we didn’t eat as booked elsewhere..
The Columba hotel overall was ok for 1 night but wouldnt want to stay any longer. Dust and cobwebs all round the room. I booked a room with dinner and breakfast only to be told that the dinner consisted of very little choice. As for the bed it was 2 singles pushed together so when we went to cuddle up for the night we fell in to the crevice between the mattresses so basically ended up sleeping on a single bed. No coffee or tea options at breakfast unless you could find staff to go to the kitchen and make you one. Lack of toiletries in the bathroom. The dining room was freezing despite small portable heaters dotted about it.
We always try to stay here when visiting lnverness as it is convenient for the town centre and car park.
The lounge area is not for us due to the perpetual football coverage on the TVs which no-one seemed to be watching. It was noticeably empty compared to other establishments round about.
Breakfast is very good and the room/bed was very comfortable.
Staff were uninterested in providing a helpful service.
Rooms were not serviced and reception had to be called on two days of a three night stay for our rooms to be made up.
The bar was closed at 15.00hrs for restocking on Hogmanay when we only required 2 drinks? And they would not serve us.
There was no interaction from the receptionist when we were checking out on how our stay was.
Hotel was tired and old needs a good makeover, dinner and breakfast was not very good pretty poor actually, will not book here again or recommend to anyone.
