Wouldn't know about breakfast as even though it was included they claimed it wasn't. Reading online reviews this seems to be a common scam.
Hotels.com support in regards to the matter was a joke, a complete joke.
Several support agents claimed that breakfast wasn't included even though it clearly was.
Finally an agent admitted its included but we're not getting it as we only have "breakfast" included and not the "continental breakfast" which was the only one they offered.
Around day 3/4 of our stay support finally said we should have breakfast included and after hours of complaining they said they'll compensate us for the breakfast but only at the hotel if we provide receipts and they're able to confirm the price with the hotel, by this time they've tried calling and emailing the hotel on several days with no answer so I'm unsure how they'd reach them to confirm anything.
I'm still waiting for some sort of compensation as I obviously had breakfast elsewhere to not contribute to the scam and spend good chunk of Pesos on it but I'm not holding my breath. Easily the worst customer service experience of my life, to make it clear, issue is Hotels.com support
