Our 2 night stay at this hotel was comfortable & relaxing. The staff were friendly & courteous, made us feel welcomed & at home. Our room was spacious & clean. The pool area over-looking the ocean was fabulous. The promenade is just in front of the hotel & close walking distance to the ferry, beach, restaurants & bars.

Overall it was a good stafff. Rooms are big and clean. The only thing is that we didn’t have hot water we had to take cold showers the whole time we were there.

Dream Team Staff and Perfectly Located Hotel

This hotel is beautiful and the price is right. It’s perfectly situated on the Malecon and in close walking distance to the beach, the Super Aqui(super market) and all the downtown restaurants and bars. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the hotel has a great vibe. The staff are super friendly and the Managers are all incredibly kind and so very helpful. Abigail, the General Manager, is wonderful and approachable and goes above and beyond in everything she does and she never misses a beat. Alex, the Booking Manager, is also absolutely wonderful and so friendly and approachable and really goes above and beyond to ensure the guests are having a wonderful stay. Allen, the late afternoon/evening Manager is also awesome and very helpful and had so many suggestions and recommendations. These three employees are all very focused on guest satisfaction and that is reflected in everything they do. This dream team made my stay so much more enjoyable due to their care, concern and attention to detail and all three of these exceptional employees deserve raises and promotions because of their hard work and dedication to their jobs. I’ve stayed here several times and these incredible staff members are the reason I decided to re-book. If you’re looking for an affordable hotel with the perfect location and incredible staff, than look no further!

Great place right on the ocean. It’s an easy walk from the ferry terminal and to all the local restaurants and shops. I only wished they had public water jug to fill water bottles so you don’t have to use so many plastic bottles.

The pictures do not do this property or the rooms justice. Very quaint and the views are amazing. There are a few small market shops and food truck on the same block that are amazing. The location is amazing for shopping ,eating, beach, views, photo ops, etc. The staff were amazing and Carlos makes great tacos and margs!

We really enjoyed the new pool at The Mint. The location is perfect for walking to restaurants, grocery, and the beach. Rooms were spacious and clean. There were only 2 things that were kind of odd: no blankets in the beds, but they did give us extra sheets and there were no beach towels available. You can only use towels for the pool. Overall it was a great value and we’d stay again.

Overall nice and clean, lovely pool - wasn't allowed to bring my best friend in for a drink and visit! Was told no non-guests are allowed. Young lady behind desk was very rude about it. Ridiculous non-policy as many other guests had many other guests... strange and frustrating as I booked a hotel not a hostel. Unfortunately I won't be back.
