Amazing holiday house. Spacious villa with a magnificent view, very nice pool and all the equipment you need. The house is very well placed for day trips to beautiful villages like Sperlonga and Gaeta but also great to take the train to Rome for a visit. The pool is fantastic to relax but also large enough to do some actual swimming, and we were very happy that it contained salt instead of chloride. Check in and communication was very easy and many tips to make it an unforgettable two weeks. We will be back one day.

Chilled Week in a Beautiful Spot

We spent a week here and everything was super easy and relaxed. The location is absolutely stunning—amazing views and beautiful nature all around. Super quiet, lots of privacy, and the pool is just a dream! The handover was really uncomplicated, and the host gave us lots of helpful info. We’d recommend bringing mosquito repellent, but hey, that’s nature. All in all, we had a great time and came back totally recharged.

A spectacular house, pool and setting!

This place is truly spectacular! We can't fault it. 'Spotlessly clean, gorgeous house and gardens, huge pool with pool lights. Tranquil surroundings. Highly efficient communication with both Frida (caretaker) and Jean Marc (owner). Lots to do and see in the area, but we didn't want to go out too much it was so beautiful! Naples is an easy train ride away and we loved the Tiberius cave at Sperlonga. We didn't want to leave!

Heerlijk verblijf!

We had a lovely and very comfortable stay. Great pool and garden. And everything you can possibly need for cooking, is available in the kitchen. Jean Marc is a great host. Answers quickly and is always ready to help. If we are ever back in Italy, we will certainly book again!

Wonderful!

I am very reluctant to leave an honest review for this property, but only because it is wonderful and we would like to be able to go back before everyone else books it! The property was even better than the photos; spotlessly clean and spacious. The location is incredibly peaceful and the views are stunning. The pool is unheated but warmed by the sun so it was a pleasant temperature, the color changing lights were a hit with our sons in the evening. There were fireflies flitting about in the evening to add to the magical atmosphere, lizards lounging by the pool in the daytime. You need a car to stay here as it’s 10 minutes drive to the nearest town with the best pizzas we’ve ever tasted at Easi Pizzeria Da Asporto, wood fired and made from scratch in Itri. Lots of lovely restaurants in and around Sperlonga too. It was cheap and very easy to get the train from Itri to Rome in 90mins, €7! I wouldn’t attempt to drive there as I don’t have nerves of steel! We had one small issue with an appliance but someone was out straight away to repair it. The communication from Jean-Marc and Frida was excellent and we were sent lots of helpful information before our stay. The house had absolutely everything we could wish for and we could not fault it in any way. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home Jean-Marc, we hope to be back soon!

Relaxing Italian escape

We had a wonderful time at Lucia and Jean Marc’s villa. The property is conveniently located in an olive grove 5 min drive from Itri, which gas basic supplies and a few gourmet shops. Seaside Sperlonga is 10 min away, where we relaxed in lounge chairs while our kids played in the sand. Our hosts provided many helpful recommendations and both their property and landscaping were lovely and well maintained. The pool was lots of fun for the kids, but a bit chilly still in May for extended swims. We didn’t want to leave!

Top Lage! Idyllische Oase inmitten wunderschöner kleiner StĂ€dte, inkl. Ausflugsmoeglichkeiten mit direkter Zugverbindung nach Rom und Neapel. Eine Villa, die keine WĂŒnsche offen lĂ€sst: Ausstattung, Lage und Ausblick, Sauberkeit, Kommunikation und Freundlichkeit der Gastgeber waren wunderbar. Absolut empfehlenswert! 10/10

Wunderschönes Haus

Sehr schön in den Bergen, ruhig und mit wunderbarer Aussicht gelegen. Das Haus ist großzĂŒgig geschnitten sauber und gut gepflegt. Wundervoller Infinity-Pool. RĂ€ume hellhörig. Der nĂ€chste Ort nach 12 minĂŒtiger Autofahrt erreichbar. Insgesamt wunderbar entspannend.

Five star italien country/mountain villa

An extremely classy and well-kept stone house with a beautiful flower garden, olive trees 🌳 and pool area. My family of three generations from 24-82 y, felt at home in this very well equipped house. Lots of space and for us, a kitchen with everything you need for cooking and a very “generous possibility” of using everything in the house. Thank you for opening your private facilities for us. ! The area is quiet with almost no neighbors and very Italian! we did not meet any tourist in the nearest town Itri. Strange but nice experience, actually. Would definitely return if possible. Host was 5 star!

Amazing house and owner

The house is much better than the photos give an impression of. The pool was just amazing for both kids and adults. The bedrooms and the kitchen was also very nice. Only thing you should think of is that you need a car for everything. Shopping, beach and restaurant. The owner will help you get transport if needed, but it has to be pre arranged for both ways. Other than that, the owner and the house manager went out of their way to help us to prolong the stay due to flight cancellations. Really flexible, professional and polite. The surrounding area was also very beautiful, we would sit outside every evening enjoying a beer and a glass of wine just admiring the landscape. Kind regards Gaute Gynnild & co

Wunderschöne Villa in den Bergen bei Itri

Nach einem Kurzaufenthalt in Rom sind wir zu dieser schönen Villa zwischen Sperlonga und Itri gereist um ein paar Tage zu entspannen. Das Haus ist sehr groß, fĂŒr meine 2 Töchter und mich eigentlich viel zu groß, aber wir haben den vielen Platz sehr genossen. Der Gastgeber hat uns bei der BegrĂŒĂŸung eine gute Einweisung gegeben und uns viele tolle Adressen fĂŒr Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants geschickt. Unser Gastgeber hat sich rĂŒhrend um uns gekĂŒmmert und war bei Fragen jederzeit gut erreichbar. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet (schöne KĂŒche, gutes Internet, Waschmaschine, insgesamt ein sehr hoher Standard), sehr gemĂŒtlich und ruhig gelegen - der Blick in die Berge ist wunderschön, der große Infinity-Pool phĂ€nomenal! Zum Einkaufen fĂ€hrt man ca 10 Auto-Minuten nach Itri und bekommt da alles was man so zum Selbstversorgen braucht, findet aber auch das eine oder andere nette Restaurant. Der Weg nach Sperlonga ist etwas weiter - nach ca 20 Minuten erreicht man das charmante kleine StĂ€dtchen (gut zum Bummeln und Essen gehen) und mehrere schöne StrĂ€nde. Besonders gut hat uns auch Gaeta gefallen, eine sehr beeindruckende kleine Stadt, die auf jeden Fall einen Ausflug Wert ist. Unser Aufenthalt hat uns allen sehr gut gefallen und wir trĂ€umen schon vom nĂ€chsten Mal in der wunderschönen Villa in den Bergen von Itri...

Ein liebevoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus mit hohem Erholungswert

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr groß und bietet bis zu 13 Personen Platz. Wir waren nur 5 und nutzten das Haupthaus. Es gibt viele schöne PlĂ€tze im Haus und auf dem GelĂ€nde, um sich ein zurĂŒckzuziehen. Die großzĂŒgige KĂŒche ist sehr gepflegt mit hochwertiger Ausstattung.. Ein hochwertiger Grill steht zur VerfĂŒgung. Internet ist gut verfĂŒgbar. Der Salz-Infinity-Pool ist mit seinen 14 x 4 Metern und zwei Tiefen sehr gut zum Schwimmen geeignet und in der Nacht sogar beleuchtet. Alles ist sehr sauber und hochwertig. Die Gartengestaltung ist sehr ansprechend. Der Vermieter war beim Empfang sehr freundlich mit vielen Tipps zum Einkauf in Itri (frischer Fisch etc.). Man erreicht das Meer in ca. 20 Minuten. Wir haben mehrere StrĂ€nde ausprobiert und unseren Lieblingsstrand gefunden (in der NĂ€he der Tiberiusgrotte).
