We arrived early at 1pm (check in is 3pm), staff said check back in an hour, cabin wasn't ready. Checked back at 2:15, told cabin still not ready. Waited in the car outside, and checked again at 2:45, and we were told "still 15 minutes left"... Kind of like they were determined to make us wait until the 3pm check in. When we got to the cabin, there were no cleaning people to be seen, nobody rushing to finish up. This was cabin #145 a King Deluxe with separate bedroom. Very small, and I mean really small. We had 2 large suitcases and had to leave them in the car, because there just wasn't room to have the bags inside. Only about 2 feet of walking space around the perimeter of the king bed. When the pullout sofa in the other room was opened to a bed, you couldn't access the bureau drawers by the foot, only about 8 inches between the bureau and sofa bed when open... really a tight squeeze. Apparently, they allow guests to bring pets here. When I turned on the heat in the bedroom, a wet area of carpet by the window started to dry, and the whole room stunk of dog poop... apparently a previous guest's precious little Fido left a lingering present on the carpet. Maybe this is why they needed that last 15 minutes, but even still, they didn't fix it. We brought up the poop smell to desk staff, and they had the housemaids stop by to spot treat the next day while we were out; this did help a little, but not entirely.
