Hibernation Station is a beautiful 5-bedroom, 2-bathroom vacation home under a mile from Lake Petit in the sprawling Big Canoe community of North Georgia. With space for up to 12 guests, the conveniences of home, access to community perks, and almost 2,000 square feet of space, Hibernation Station has all you need for a fun family vacation or a great getaway with friends!

The fully equipped kitchen makes mealtime easy, or you can toss some burgers on the grill outside. Rocking chairs invite you to sip coffee on the front porch, and tables on the open deck offer outdoor dining with tree-studded vistas on nice days. This pet-friendly home also has Wi-Fi, a washer/dryer, and a TV so guests can kick back and unwind. Stay cool with air conditioning throughout the home, spend quality time with family and friends, and enjoy the peace of North Georgia.

When you want to get out, explore the many amenities of Big Canoe - including a fun playground for kids within walking distance and Laket Petit splashes in under a mile. This gated community boasts an outdoor pool and rock slide, a fitness center and sauna, lakes and waterfalls, hiking trails, picnic spots, restaurants, a grocery store, a post office, and plenty of space to enjoy nature! There is a world-class golf course nearby, along with great fishing at the lake that's within walking distance of the property!

Ready to hit the hay? On the entry level, the primary bedroom offers a king-size bed plus a second bedroom with a queen-size bed. Downstairs, you'll find the third and fourth bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed, plus the final fifth bedroom with 2 twin-over-twin bunk beds. Drift to dreamland after a hot shower and TV entertainment at the end of every day.

Perfect location!

We were there for my son’s wedding. This house was very convenient to the tennis facility, Chapel, marina, and big field where my son and his groomsmen played football/frisbee. Keep in mind that there are only 2 parking spots at the house, but we parked additional cars at the nearby facilities.

Very clean. Plenty of space inside for 3 couples and two bunk beds. One bed squeaked horribly at slightest move. Deep sleepers only on that one. AC good during 90 deg outside. Parking difficult. Very little pantry space is problematic when feeding 12 people every day. Good fridge. TVs good quality. Nice grill. Good deep woods feel especially at night on balcony.

Property was ok, bunk mattress very hard, very little extras for stay. No bathroom soap and way to little toilet paper, no fire pits, some smell in lower bedrooms. Most of the beds were comfortable, but it cost to do everything in big canoe except hiking. Our group was family of twelve and it was plenty of room, but porch’s need cleaning lots cobwebs.
