Modern Treehouse

Welcome to our Modern Treehouse, located within the 8,000 tranquil acre community of the Big Canoe Resort. You are welcome to do as much or as little as you wish to make your stay as memorable as possible.

Enjoy the view of the mountains from the top deck while grilling out and playing lawn games. You’ll feel like you’re up in the sky among the treetops surrounded by gorgeous foliage and wildlife. Cozy up by the fireplace and enjoy spending quality time with family and friends.
The space
Amenities inside Big Canoe include golf, tennis and pickleball courts, the Beach Club, Fitness center, Lake Petit, boat/kayak/raft rentals, a rock slide, hiking trails, a Jeep off-road trail, children’s play areas, play fields and parks. (Some amenities are additional fees; please see list below).

The home has been stylishly renovated and designed, remodeled and upgraded with new Black Stainless-steel appliances, Keurig coffee machine for single cup and pot, blender, and air fryer microwave. Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen, with everything you need to prepare a meal at home. Each bedroom includes it’s very own TV. We provide several board games, playing cards and puzzles. Additionally, we offer two outside deck spaces. On the lower level deck you’ll find a giant 4-in-a-row game, corn-hole, and tumbling tower set. Take in the view from the upper deck as you grill and dine outside.

NOTE: There are 2 outdoor security cameras, one at the door and one facing the driveway. Big Canoe Community rules must be followed by all guests. Please be sure to adhere to the 25 per hour speed limit. Most importantly please DO NOT leave food, trash, or recycling outside the home or in your car as it may attract bears and other wildlife.

The house is three stories tall with two sets of stairs on the inside. The master bedroom is located on the main floor, has a king size bed and a dedicated office space. There are two bedrooms in the lower level of the home, one bedroom boasts a king size bed, and the 2nd bedroom has a bunk bed that can sleep up to four.

We are minutes away from hiking trails, the children’s playfield park, the beach club, wellness center, and the marina at Lake Petit.
Guest access
You will have access to the full house with the exception of a few utility closets.
Other things to note
-We recommend grocery shopping on your way up since the nearest Grocery store (IGA) is approximately 20 minutes away

-We do not provide food; please be sure to bring all food items and cooking ingredients you may need. We do provide communal spices (salt, black pepper, and garlic powder). Our coffee maker supports both Keurig pods and regular brewed coffee. We do our best to provide you with your first morning cup of coffee but please come prepared with your own coffee.

-We provide hand soaps, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. If you run out during your stay, please let us know and we will do our best to restock.

-To make your stay as convenient as possible we also provide dish soap, laundry pods, and dishwasher pods/tablets.

If you forget something the IGA is approximately 20 minutes away.

Modern Treehouse offers its guests a fitness centre, barbecue grills, and laundry facilities. The front desk is open around the clock.
