Äskettäin rakennettu hirsimökki, juuri valmistunut vuonna 2017 17 hehtaarilla ja 1200 metrin ajotieltä tarjoaa yksityisyyttä ja upeat näkymät Cherry Pondille ja Mt Waumbekista Vermontiin. Kiinteistö vastustaa Valkoisen vuoren kansallismetsää ja voit vaeltaa kiinteistön huipulta Owls Headiin ja Mt Marthaan, joka on noin 3. 0 mailia yhteen suuntaan ja 1600 jalkaa korkeuden muutoksesta. Owls Head tarjoaa upeat näkymät koko presidentinvalikoimaan. 1. kerroksen makuuhuoneessa on queen-vuode, ja oleskelutilassa on täysikokoinen vuodesohva. Kaikki patjat ovat uusia muistivaahtopatjoja. On säilytysparvi, johon pääsee tikkaita, ei portaita, joten se ei ole sopiva alle 5-vuotiaille tai ihmisille, jotka eivät pysty kiivetä tikkaita. Mökki on pois sähköverkosta aurinkopaneeleilla ja akkuilla. Yksi kylpyhuone suihkulla ja ulkosuihku. Fantastic katettu seulotaan kuistilla nauttia näkymistä ja siellä on Paviljonki, joka kattaa palo kuoppaan alueen piknikpöytä, joka on myös upeat näkymät. Matkapuhelimen vastaanotto on erittäin hyvä Verizonin kanssa, ja siinä on 4G- ja LTE-palvelu. Mökissä ei ole WIFI: tä tai televisiota. Se on tarkoitettu pakopaikaksi ja irrotettavaksi pistorasiasta. Päivän aikana näkymä on uskomaton ja yöllä tähdet ovat uskomattomia melkein ilman valosaasteita.

Talvikaudella suositellaan AWD- tai 4WD-ajoneuvoja, koska ajotie on noin 1200 jalkaa pitkä ylämäkeen 10%: n kaltevuudella.
Tämä mökki sijaitsee vain lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä kohteesta White Mountain National Forest. Majoituspaikka tarjoaa esimerkiksi vesipuiston. Mökissä tarjoaa asiakkaille keittiön ja parvekkeen/pation.

We like places away from the crowds. This was it. No one was close at all. Google even had a bit of problem finding the exact location (Apple maps didn't have a problem for a change). Off the grid. Electricity was from solar panels. If you like isolation, you will like this. We did.Great view from the porch. Lots of mountains in the distance. At night, open dark skies to the north and above (we actually watched a great display of the Northern Lights while we were there). Loved the alcove in the forest for a campfire. Table and chairs and firewood. Even roasting forks. Flashlights in the cabin.Easy to go in various direction to site see. We went to Mt. Washington. Also the Franconia Notch State Park state park was pretty close as well. Towns like Littleton are recommended as well. I believe all of these were an easy 30 minutes away in different directions. The place really is in the center of things.There is no place just on the corner to eat, but Whitefield, was only 10 minutes away. It has limited facilities like a grocery store, Dollar General, Dunkins (with very poor service), and a couple of small eating places. There are larger towns about 30 minutes away with lots of restaurants and shopping.Not much in the way of cons. Lighting felt dim, but adequate. In spite of feeling in the wilderness, there is actually a bit of road noise in the distance. Not terrible, but noticeable. Property sits on a pretty steep slope.A great place to visit.

Cabin has a cute rustic charm. Very easy check in and when we had a small issue, then was quick to respond and had it fixed before we return from our day. Enjoyed the isolation and the porch was great to sit on at night.

Tucked away and glorious

Such a wonderful location and comfortable accommodations! Private, and yet sweeping views including the sunset. Some road noise, but it died down after dark, and the quiet was glorious. The screened-in porch with chairs was a favorite spot for us. Cell service was adequate, we didn't miss having wifi. The bed was comfy, we were able to cook in the kitchen, the wildflowers outside were lovely, and I'm curious about the recently planted fruit trees. Thank you for sharing this beautiful corner of the planet.

Beautiful Cabin

What a wonderful experience. Each morning coffee on the screened in porch. At night, watching the stars that seemed like you could touch them. Mt Washington was a short drive where we took cog railway to top. The cabin is perfect for anyone who wants to unwind and enjoy nature. Ben, thanks for sharing your wonderful cabin.

Beautiful secluded cabin but with everything you need to enjoy the mountains and recharge. The porch provides hours of peace and enjoyment just watching the views. Kitchen has everything you need, the beds are very comfortable, and the fire pit area provides another hangout space. Can’t wait to return.

My Side of The Mountain

In my opinion, this is the quintessential 'cabin in the mountains'. It has stunning views and gorgeous sunsets that can be enjoyed from the screened in porch. It's in the 'wild' (but not too far from attractions), and is the perfect place to 'disconnect' from the world and enjoy the North Country! Ben is a fantastic host, his cabin had everything we needed, and it is a very clean and well maintained property. We are all looking forward to coming back again!

The best cabin we have stayed at.

My wife and I have been staying at various cabins in and around NH for a number of years. We like to find places in close proximity to the White Mountains for hiking. Ben’s place is exactly the spot we have been looking for for years. It checked every box, close to the whites, attractions and great places to eat within a short driving distance. The cabin was super clean, private and comfortable. We loved ot and can’t wait to go back.

Peaceful stay

Ben's cabin was lovely! We loved the location, which was very private yet close to hiking trails and central to a few different towns. It was obvious that Ben and his family thought through every detail when building this camp. The view from the property was lovely, and the outdoor patio/fire pit area was amazing. While a cabin, it is stocked with top quality cookware and linens as well - a very nice surprise if you are not expecting it. While we did not use the bicycles, there were three in the basement available for use, and the Presidential Bike trail is nearby. Following the stream up the mountain will bring you to the forest, marked with red paint on the trees. There is a trail that runs along the perimeter of the forest, which was enjoyable. Ben was very responsive as well, which we appreciated! We hope to be able to return!

Cozy Cabin

Unplug and Enjoy the Beauty

Beautiful Mountain View’s, cabin was perfect. No TV was great. Home owner was in touch when necessary for solar and any other questions. We had snow while there and driveway was taken care of. Highly recommend this place.

Great location and spectacular view

This cabin was in a great location and the front deck area had a great view.The cabin was very clean and had ample heat, hot water, and oven/ stovetop and refrigerator functioning well. After I had reached the host by email he was quick to reply by text. I had to email him the day before rental to get the key code number and then he did say he would email me directions/info which I never received. The VRBO directions told us to look for Hazen road and there was no Hazen Road dign, it was Airport Rd., and I had to reach out to him the day before stay for key code.Alhe was very quick to respond.

Just Perfect

This cabin is just perfect! It’s beautiful. I cannot say enough about it - super clean, beautiful surroundings, this was my husband’s second time staying here and we will definitely be back. The kitchen has everything you need. We enjoyed hiking in the area and the foliage was incredible!

Family stay at Jefferson

Ben’s cabin is amazing! So much that we want to come back here next time! My toddler almost 3 y and my wife stayed there for labour day weekend. Cabin has everything you need for simple cozy lifestyle! It is tucked in the woods while road to get there is very accessible.we grilled cooked and enjoyed the stay while having amazing views!
