The property was quiet as it is out of town. They provide good wi-fi as there is no mobile phone coverage. The room itself was as advertised, but the facilities advertised in the listing clearly stated private bathroom. There was only a public bathroom which was a tin shed with a toilet cubicle & a shower cubicle in each of the men's & women's. The water to the handbasins & the drinking water taps froze overnight so there was no access to water from these taps.

Great setting. Helpful staff. The beds in my room only had foam mattresses, which were a bit uncomfortable. I would recommend these be upgraded to inner spring mattresses.

TV didn't work, no internet, beds were crap, no heat in the bathroom or toilet area, rubbish around the grounds. I remember being taken there as a child. I was to a certain extent relieved to see nothing has changed, same buildings, same people, there, and in the surrounding Jindabyne area... I remember.

We had a nice quiet time staying in this property. It was clean, fairly priced, near Perisher valley so was easy to head back and rest. Food was good and staff were helpful.
