The property’s gardens are spectacular, and the history of the original house is really special. That said, the room I stayed in felt a bit outdated, and we were without power for a full day during our stay. The hotel and landscape is great with the japanesse gardens and great lawns. The offer in the restaurant on sundays afternoon (there were open 1 of 3 resraurants) was limited.
