The one star is for the prime location of this hotel- you only need to cross the road to access the beach, which also has a path for walking and running. The hotel itself boasts of image recognition for guest access to the area leading to the rooms and to the car park. But for all the technology, it’s missing some basic comforts. Although it’s right by the beach, there is no place in the room to hang clothes to dry. In fact, there is barely any space to hang anything. There are some clothes hangers above a little sofa, so you either hang your clothes or use the sofa for sitting. Instead, there is a random large sink taking space in the room. The towels and bed linen look very old and most are stained. The room we stayed in had open sockets with exposed wires, so definitely not suitable for families with toddlers and crawling babies. The bed only had a sheet to cover, so sleeping with the air con on was very cold, but switching it off made the room very hot, so none of us had a good night sleep. Breakfast was the basic expected for a hotel in the northeast of Brazil but not great. I’ve had better in smaller and cheaper pousadas. The checkin was complicated, requiring them to keep a copy of an identification document for each guest, including the children. You have to pay for using the hotel car park. I could go on. Yes, the rooms are spacious and the beds are big, but this hotel is a far cry from the 4 star it claims to be.

It is a much more basic property than I thought when I booked. Rooms are basic. Bedding is basic. Outlets for cellphones are poor in the room. But there are other things that help: staff is amazing. Everyone is very nice. Shout out to Maria Jose at the front desk and the ladies on the breakfast area. Everyone is amazing. The Internet is okay. The pool area is very good and the area of the hotel with convenience store and restaurants is walkable.

Atendimento da Recepção ruim, o pessoal mal responde um bom dia, o quarto que colocaram agente estava com a tomada próxima a cama solta com fio exposto, pedi para trocar de quarto mas acho que a recepcionista não gostou muito pois a mesma disse que não tinha como levar a chave pra gente ver o outro quarto pq estava só na recepção e pediu que agente descesse para pegar a chave, então meu esposo desceu e foi pegar a chave de outro quarto já que o que colocaram agente estava com a única tomada que tinha no quarto estava com o fio descascado piscina não tinha como usar porque estava em manutenção mais só foi avisado na chegada, coisa que achei muito errado, quero parabenizar as meninas da limpeza e as meninas do café da manhã muito educadas
