My husband and I stayed here two nights during our recent trip to South Africa. City Lodge is a nice and convenient airport hotel. It is about a 5 minute walk from the terminal. No shuttle required. The hotel staff were friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. They even allowed us to check out one hour later than the posted time without an extra charge. We found the room to be clean and quiet and the bed comfortable. We ate at the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner and the food and service were both good. I used the gym and although small and a little warm since it is open to the outside, it was clean and served it's purpose. Would highly recommend City Lodge for an airport stay and would book again.

Even after having to check out of the room, there were plenty of comfortable places to wait, watch TV, read a book and get something to eat until it was time for my flight. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful at every interaction. The food available was delicious and served at a great price value.

Great location for the hotel in the airport grounds . Safe transition from airport to hotel did not need to go outside . Desk staff good. Easy booking in. Room with 2 single beds as requested and comfortable. Quiet and clean. Good breakfast , at reasonable price.
