Excellent customer service, room makes you feel like you are back in time, and kept clean. My complaint is the lack of comfort for the beds. I have stayed in the double and queen size mattress rooms and both are terrible for your back; regardless if you have pre-existing issues. Also, queen rooms do not have a fridge but the double bed rooms do.

We had a great time. The room was exactly what we had helped for. It’s not fancy but it’s very clean and comfortable. We were right downtown so it was easy to get to everywhere we wanted to go.

Jeff (hotel staff onsite) was friendly and professional — from when my husband arrived to when we departed. We really enjoyed our stay at the Julian Lodge, especially the proximity to Main St. where all of the shops and restaurants are located — everything is walkable! Next time we are in town, the Julian Lodge is where we will stay and recommend to all of our friends and family!

I booked online and the rude manager gave me an invoice upon arrival and asked for more money. I am not willing to pay any extra money to this accommodation. I have no idea why they are asking for more money. I looked at the invoice and they are overcharging the room. I hope you will look into this. This manager was completely in a wrong job. A guest comes here to get away from a busy life and relax, not to see the aggressive face of the hotel manager..
