I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn located in a quiet suburban area. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Amir, the desk clerk, who was truly exceptional. Amir was not only professional and efficient but also incredibly pleasant and hospitable throughout my stay. He made check-in smooth and took the time to answer any questions with a genuine smile. His positive attitude was a bright spot and truly set the tone for the experience.
The hotel itself was very clean and well-maintained, with comfortable accommodations and convenient amenities. It’s clear the staff works hard to keep the space welcoming and orderly.
Unfortunately, one downside to the stay was the behavior of some of the guests. Being a person of color, I found certain interactions with fellow guests to be uninviting and at times, subtly racist. It’s disappointing to encounter this kind of atmosphere, especially in a setting meant for relaxation and hospitality.
That said, my overall experience was good thanks to the cleanliness of the hotel and the professionalism of the staff—especially Amir, who deserves special recognition for his outstanding service. With more inclusive guest experiences, this Holiday Inn has the potential to be a truly excellent destination.
