Nauti snorklauksesta merikilpikonnien kanssa, humpbackvalaiden katselulla talvella tai katselemassa sateenkaaria. Tämä ominaisuus on täydellinen kaikelle! Kahana-auringonlasku istuu Keonenui-lahdella ja tuntuu siltä, että sillä olisi oma yksityinen ranta. Tämä ominaisuus sijaitsee vain muutaman mailin päässä kuuluisasta Lahaina -kaupungista ja Kaanapali-lomakeskuksen jännityksestä, kätevästi minuutin päässä Kapaluan ja Kaanapalin maailmankuuluista golfkentistä ja muutaman askeleen päässä kaupoista, markkinoista ja ravintoloista Napilissa. Tämä lomakeskus on erinomaisella paikalla rannalla Kahanassa. Koska sinulla ei ole naapurimaiden lomakohteita, sinulla on todella mahdollisuus rentoutua. Hotellissa on ilmainen pysäköinti, uima-allas, ranta ja grillausmahdollisuus. Lomakeskus on 10 minuutin ajomatkan päässä kolmesta yleisölle avoimesta mestaruustason golfkentästä, rannoista, yöelämästä ja jopa ilmaisista hula-esityksistä. Kahana Sunset on ihanteellinen tapa luoda virheetöntä Maui-lomaasi. Etsitpä rentouttavaa lomaa tai hauskaa lomaa, voimme auttaa varaamaan aktiviteetteja tai tarjota yksinkertaisesti täydellisen hiljaisen ja viehättävän paikan nuorentamiseen. Nauti Kapaluan rannikkopolun, kyläpolkujen tai erittäin vaikean Mahana Ridge -polun helppoudesta. Kapalua on koti Mauin parhaimmista ravintoloista. Korkeammat pääpisteet, kuten Merrimans, Sansei, Plantation House -ravintola, Cane ja Canoe sek��� Banyan Tree, ovat ihania mihin tahansa erityiseen tilanteeseen. Honolua-myymälä, Pour House ja Taverna ovat vähän vähemmän hinnoiteltuja uskomattoman maukkaan keitti��n tarjoamista varten. Naapurina olevassa Napilin kaupungissa on myös valikoima ravintoloita. Kapalua Bayn ranta merkittiin ”parhaaksi rantaksi” Dr. Ranta vuonna 2018. Nauti snorklausta näillä rauhallisilla koskemattomilla vesillä. Oneloa, Honolua ja Teurastamot ovat myös uskomattomia ja vain muutaman minuutin päässä!

Nauti kaikki Kaanapalin tarjonta vain 10 minuutin ajomatkan päässä. 3 meripeninkulman rantakävely ulottuu Sheratonin mustalta rockilta Kanoottirannalle aivan Hyatt Regency Mauin ohi. Rantatie on erittäin kätevä aamu-sydänharjoitteluun tai rauhalliseen kävelylle kahvin kera. Kauppoja ja ravintoloita voi nauttia missä tahansa hotelleissa tai Whaler's Villagessa. Nauti ilmaisista hulaesityksistä Hula Grillissä ja Kaanapali Beach -hotellin Tiki-baarissa. Nauti hienoista jälleenmyyjistä, kuten Lululemon, Sephora ja Tommy Bahama. Leilani's the Beach, Hula Grill ja Monkeypod ovat upeita ravintoloita Whaler's Villagessa, samoin kuin monia vieraspaikkoja. Kahana Sunset D-9 was worn out and very neglected. The beds were horrible, broken down and old old old. Contacted the property manager and was told the mattress was only 4 years old which could not be possible, they were unsleepable. After hours on the phone with Sullivan properties another mattress for “guest room, which we called the dark hole” was delivered while we were out and it was not much better, definitely not anywhere near new. Considering you spend 1/3 of your vacation looking forward to a good night sleep we feel cheated. The little tub in the dark hole was backing up, we removed a grotesque amount of black hair (none of us had black hair) so gross! When we first arrived we had no internet or tv as the cable box was knocked off the wall. Heads up ladies, they have 2 blow dryers in the unit, one the heating eliminate didn’t work and the other doesn’t even turn on. We had to repair the handle on frying pan as it was about to fall off. Kitchen had horrible pots and pans and minimal utensils, you had to be real creative to get a meal out. There are so many more complaints and quite frankly I don’t want to waste anymore time on it. Bottom line deny D-9. I leave it with a positive note, the beach was great when weather and tide permitted (no beach when high tide). There is an overlook at the end of the property that had a large group of sea turtles to watch.

Wonderful, quiet location

The property was clean with a nice, new, well laid-out kitchen. You have access to a private, sandy beach area with nice swimming and snorkeling. We snorkeled with lots of turtles and saw many fish, an eel, a small octopus, and a teeny, tiny cuttlefish. The nearby Napili Market has a great supply of just about anything you could want. Watch for lizards on the walk to the beach and keep your eye out for the gecko that seemed to live on the deck. Great location, very little road noise, and a easy place to relax and rid yourself of stress.

Great place to stay

The property was great... loved everything about it. It's very clean and well kept. On the property you have a private beach, with chairs available to use so you dont have to carry your own; they even have complimentary water boards to use, just please make sure to return. The pool was probably the best pool I've been in, only problem was that it closes at 8pm, and it's not too big if you're planning on swimming laps unless you're a kid, it's more for chilling and relaxing. The location was great, close to grocery, restaurants, and right on the beach; only consider that it is a drive to go anywhere else from there if you're trying to adventure the island, but the views you'll enjoy are awesome. The room with the lanai of course had an awesome view. The only thing to consider about the room without the lanai is that it has a funny looking window which was never really opened, and the birds will chirp first thing in the morning. Nevertheless, each room is nicely separated, feels like you have your own apartment; each room has a bathroom which was a definite plus, plus an extra bathroom downstairs.... definitely has the space for everyone to get ready. Overall the experience was better than expected.

Everything was great! We really enjoyed our stay. We love that the beach was just steps away!

The only thing I will say is that the guest room did not have a window and the birds start chirping at 5 am! (a lot of birds and they are very very loud). The air conditioning units are also not strong. Other than that, everything was amazing.

Location, location, location!

We had a lovely stay in D9. It was a perfect size for two couples, with really good separation between the bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. *The master bedroom, with its private lanai and gorgeous view was definitely the nicer bedroom, but all beds were comfy. We really enjoyed the property--well-maintained grounds and grills. And it really does have its own private little beach, which on days when surf was calm was fabulous! The furnishings in the unit could use some updating, and it would make us happier to have an actual oven instead of a just a stovetop (the description of the property mentioned this) and a few more kitchen items, like a large bowl or two. The air conditioning and fans worked great. Also mentioned in other reviews was the shoddy carpet installation, where carpet tacks can injure feet. However, when we called Sullivan (property manager) about the carpet, they sent someone over that day to fix it. I'm not sure if they have also fixed spots on the stairs and near the bathrooms. I mention this to caution future guests, but let me say that all in all, we had a wonderful time at the Kahana Sunset, and we would rent this unit again.

Family getaway to Maui

Excellent location with stunning views and easy no contact check in out process. The place looks similar to page photos and they get back to you fairly quickly. This is a great place for the value and worked out well for our family vacation. Downside there is bugs but were warned in the binder upon arrival, which stated all places on island has bugs. The furniture and bedding is older but did the job. Construction finishes have room for improvement example carpet tack strips at livingroom / kitchen transition and on stairs would stab your bare feet. Overall we had a great time and would recommend this rental for a budget friendly alternative to a resort.

Great location, comfortable accommodations

Beautiful grounds with a small accessible private beach. Small pool conveniently located in the center of the property. Very quiet atmosphere really made our vacation relaxing. Two-bedroom unit D9 has a nice view from the upper lanai. The unit had a fully equipped kitchen and the layout of the unit and furnishings made it a comfortable stay. An insect issue was reported and quickly responded to by the management company. The issue existed throughout the stay and was a nusiance, but did not totally ruin our vacation.

Great location for superb snorkeling beaches

Less than 5 minutes way from three snorkeling beaches, the Napili shopping center, and the main highway on the westside of the island. Open floor plan with a large kitchen. Both bedrooms had their own bathrooms. The view from the living area and lanais were fantastic; particularly at sunset. Parking was right outside the entry door. Well maintained property and grounds.

Spring break dream

This property was the perfect location for our family of 5 on our first visit to Maui. We were traveling right before the Coronavirus craziness began and when I called Sullivan Properties for information about status of travel they were very helpful. We are so glad we decided to continue with our plans. With 5 adults D9 was just the right size. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of room to spread out. We loved having the small beach so close. We were able to snorkel and saw plenty of sea turtles, a couple even came onto the beach. The location was perfect, close to great beaches and hikes with lots of grocery stores and restaurant convenient as well. We hope to be able to visit again!

Beautiful property

Kahana Sunset D9 was perfect for our family of 6. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. While the beach area is Amal in the winter, it was nice to have on the days we didn’t feel like driving to a larger beach. The grills were well cared for and a nice plus to have. Only downfall is the unit does not have an oven. Be prepared if like ya you stop at Costco by the airport.

We love this placebb especially for us being a big family just wish they had some type of bed for baby and ac but other wise we love it

Pool Quiet hours are 6-9pm, but condo has what you need with great view.

Location is close to stores and Kanapaali Parking was great! No AC in D9 and most of it is carpeted, so it felt smaller and warmer. We left windows open at night with fans and that worked for us, except that the bedroom which faces street is loud (I was surprised how noisy street was at all hours of night!). The birds chirp loudly in morning (not issue for me, but my kids would wake up earlier than I would have liked :). The private beach is very nice with a great view of Lanai but you aren’t allowed to bring chairs (it is very small, so I understand, but also no shade unless you go earlier morning). Pool is great temp and decent sized for size of property. However, big downside for me is that pool quiet hours are 6-9pm. I felt this property billed itself as family condo resort and with the early quiet hours (once a week pool opens until noon), probably not a place I would return to as I have young kids who after a day of driving around island, just want to jump in pool. I felt 6 is early and am used to quiet hours being 8 and onwards. However, there were lots of families around. Otherwise the condo had everything you would need (coffee maker, toaster, rice cooker, blender, etc). There are also a couple of nice grills under a gazebo in courtyard. The condo also had a great view of the water from living room and master bedroom Lanais. We had a great time and I would recommend this condo for others with the above tidbits of info.
