This condo is in a great location and the view from the lanai is beautiful. We were able to watch whales whenever we weren't out and about.

Best thing about this condo is an Awesome view

This condo has an awesome view of the beach and Lanai being on the 9th floor. The kitchen is very small and congested with only 2 people. Very little counter space to prep food. The Refrigerator is very dented and not in a convenient spot. It has one small bathroom closet with toilet and tub/shower. Sink and mirror are in the narrow hallway. Water pressure was very weak. There is no Air conditioning so prepare for gale force winds when you open the lanai door and the front door at the same time. The bedroom has a window that had only old blinds that doesn’t keep out the light. So if you open it for air at night you get the noise from the street, noise from the blinds and light for outside. 4 out of 10 days we were there in the Condo the Nextdoor condo was under renovation and jack hammers in use from 9am to 4pm. 1 day we had no water for 6 hours. Contacted the management only to find out they were stateside and would get back to me with a text that said yes your water is off due to complex repairs. No one responded to the jackhammer noise next door. The complex is old and needs updating for sure. I’ve been a frequent visitor to Maui over the past 45 years and for the cost of this Condo, I have stayed in far better equipped Condos for less money. Read the description carefully and don’t assume anything or you will be disappointed as we were.

A Wonderful Place to Vacation

This condo was absolutely great with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The view is spectacular just as listed and we enjoyed breakfast everyday on the lanai while we watched for whales. We even spotted some dolphins in the distance. We appreciated the screen door at the entry to the condo as this helped for coolness. We did not miss air conditioning, it doesn’t seem necessary in this condo as there were fans provided. We enjoyed the beach area and got to see the resident turtles almost everyday. The location is very convenient for restaurants and other beaches close by. Dolly’s across the street was a nice little pub with take out pizza,etc. We would definitely stay here again.

Not worth the money

I am very surprised you list this property. The view is excellent, but the unit needs a lot of upgrading. The sofa's springs worn out and does not support the back. The bathtub has stains and the fridge runs almost all the time and has dents in the freezer door. Up grade please. I have photos if you want to see the.Back to Ka'anapli.

Wir waren zu viert unterwegs und waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Bei der Aussicht auch kaum anders möglich. Die Unterkunft ist direkt am Meer gelegen und echt angenehm zu erreichen.. in der NÀhe gibt es alles was man so braucht und der direkte Zugang zum Meer war ein absoluter Traum.

This property was very confortable, very nice view of the ocean and perfect for 4 people to stay. Every day, turtles came to the shore and we got to see them up close from the balcony. This part of maui is very windy and is perfectly okay with no A.C. the table size was perfect and every day we enjoyed at least 1 meal at it.

First Time To Maui

We absolutely loved our stay, it was a beautiful property. We appreciated that the condo was exactly as shown in the pictures. The property was quiet, clean and peaceful, just what we needed. My one suggestion would be for proper mattresses on the Murphy beds. They are lounge cushions with creases in them, my boys ages 11 and 9 didn’t find them very comfortable. That one small improvement and it would be perfect!

A piece of paradise

We stayed on the property for 10 wonderful nights. The place matches the pictures and the beautiful view greets you as you open the door. The kitchen was well equipped, as was the bathroom. It was so convenient to have their beach chairs and umbrella. We enjoyed cooking a few dinners on the property’s grills while our daughters enjoyed the pool. The grounds are well kept and the beach was small but beautiful, it was great for paddle boarding. One afternoon while enjoying a drink on the lanai we spotted a sea turtle swimming near the shore, priceless! Given that it doesn’t have ac, it does get a bit wat at night but thankfully there were plenty of fans and windows to make the nights comfortable. We felt it was a bonus that we had access to a washer and dryer! We will definitely come back again.

Turtles Everyday

Everyday we saw turtles on the beach or in the water right at the condo. The room was spacious and the murphy beds were decent. The only "complaint" is it's hard to get air in the condo without opening the front door to get the cross breeze from the patio. Keep in mind, it's a strong cross breeze! At night it was a little hot because I wasn't comfortable leaving the front door open while sleeping. It was still a great experience with awesome views.

Nice place, nice location.

Turtles on the beach, visible all day. Can easily see the whales breaching in the distance. Clean, warm pool. Nice little beach that feels rather private. Rental place and small grocery across the street - really, just about everything you need. And, it's just a short drive to Kaanapali resort area. The condo is perhaps a little dated, but absolutely worth the price. Highly recommend staying here.

Peaceful, enjoyable experience

My wife and I, along with my grown daughter decided to go to Maui for some R&R. My wife and daughter have very stressful jobs so we were looking for a nice accommodation by the beach. This property fit the bill. It has a great beach right in front. We also travelled to other beaches that were easy to get to using local transit. The condo had all we needed as far as utensils and cooking needs. The only negative thing was that the Murphy beds were not put down as I had asked. The bed is also very uncomfortable. Many of the slats on the side to the ocean were broken. We worked it out. Other wise I would recommend this property to others wanting a good property to experience Maui.

Comfy room in paradise

What a great place to stay! The 4 of us loved staying here. The view from the balcony was great. Close access to the beach, and a fantastic coffee shop (Hawai‘ian Village Coffee) around the corner. The only thing missing was an ice cube tray in the freezer. We had to suffer with slightly warm cocktails the first night, haha. Also, the front desk is only open until 5pm, so if you get there after that, you will have to wait until the next day to get your parking pass. Not a big deal, but just good to know ahead of time!

Condo’s view and beach access are amazing!

As a family of 4, with 2 teenagers, this was a great place to use as our home base for our time in Maui. The Murphy beds were good and more comfortable than a pull out sofa. They were quite firm, but did the trick. I was disappointed to see that they were not made up, as per my booking request, as we arrived way past midnight from a very long day of travel. Like others said, the condo is a little dated but location and the beautiful sunsets made up for it! Beach is pristine and literally steps away. Unfortunately we didn’t have water for the last few days of our stay. This water outage impacted the entire facility. A hospitality room to shower off site would have been nice. Overall, a great location, beautiful sunsets and a well equipped condo to rest at night!
