Let’s start with the good. We were within walking distance to the Power and Light. The check-in was easy. The bad: small room, well small everything, thermostat was broken, and the bed was awful. It served our purpose of walking distance to the event we were having.

One thing they don’t tell you is there’s no self parking at the hotel, valet only. There’s a $48/per day charge for parking. But you can remove your vehicle as many times as you want included in that price. There’s a speakeasy in the basement, but reservations are highly recommended. They were turning people around at the door. Will stay again.

The price for the room was way to high, given how outdated it was. The bathroom was not clean with bits of hair on the floor from previous guest. Was not just 1 hair, there was a ton of hair in the area where the shower was. I also booked the hotel as it was my 1st wedding anniversary and wanted something special, if you want something like this don't stay here. Nothing even from the hotel in terms of celebration. Ive stayed at alot of hotels over.thr years where hotels would leave a card, chocolates or maybe a bottle of champagne, well not this place. Would not recommend to anyone.

Not even 5 minutes after we arrived to our room after checking in, maintenance burst in unannounced thinking the room was empty. After we received a call offering to compensate a breakfast or dinner meal for our troubles, which was appreciated. The next day we ate dinner and got a bottle of wine, which was warm, and the steak lacked flavor, however no complaints since it was free right?? Wrong. After double checking at check out that the bill was covered we were assured it was. Later in the day we were charged for it. After some back and forth they ended up refunding the charge. However this is very disappointing considering the amount of money we spent!
