Tucked away on our property, Caddo Lake Hideaway is a private, secluded cabin where you and your guests can truly relax and enjoy having the place all to yourselves. There are no other guests staying on the property with you, giving you the peace, quiet, and privacy you’re looking for when planning a getaway.

Our street does have a few neighboring residences, as is common with many of the vacation rentals around Caddo Lake. But once you arrive at the Hideaway, your space is yours to enjoy. There are no shared outdoor areas and no other guests coming and going — just you, your own cozy cabin, and the peaceful surroundings of beautiful Caddo Lake.

Step outside and enjoy your private front porch, perfect for sipping your morning coffee, unwinding with a glass of wine in the evening, or simply sitting back and listening to the sounds of nature. In the backyard, you’ll have your own private covered grilling area, giving you the perfect spot to cook up dinner, gather together, and enjoy an evening outdoors.

Here at the hideaway we offer a wide variety of amenities to make your stay the most pleasurable at a very affordable cost. To our knowledge we are still the lowest priced cabin rental anywhere around Caddo Lake. Your private room with full bath is very comfortable it is a total of 400 sq. ft. A cabin like experience in a wooded country setting. It has it's own entry and front porch though it is part of the main structure. We keep it sparkling clean and tidy. Being a country cabin you might notice that the floor has a few nicks, scrapes or marks but those nicks, scrapes or marks are all "sparkling clean"! We thoroughly clean the hideaway from top to bottom after each visit!

We provide most everything you will need to have a great time here. There is a nice cozy queen size bed, if there is a 3rd guest we have an extra twin size floor mattress in the closet for your use. There is also a 32" TV with local channels, DVD player, a small assortment of movies (including 2 that were made here at Caddo Lake) central A/C & heat but we also provide independent A/C & heat so you can make adjustments to suit your needs. There is a coffee maker and coffee, toaster, microwave, silverware, plates, bowls, towels, soap, shampoo, table & 2 chairs, sheets, linens, and pillows. There are blackout curtains on the windows as well as blinds. You will also find 3 ice trays filled will ice and a couple of bottles of water in the fridge.

Out back in the BBQ grilling area you will find a charcoal smoker/grill, 2 burner propane stove, skillet, sauce pan with lid, utensils, outside picnic table, fire ring, firewood and more.

We do rent kayaks. Kayak rental is $29 each. "whether its 1 hour OR All Day"

I will drop off /pick up kayaks at the launch for you.

This service is FREE.

***** If you have a pickup truck and would like to transport them to and from the lake we can make you a special offer.

Rent 1 @ the $29 cost and the second kayak is FREE.

There are a couple rods and reels, fishing equipment, a tackle box with lures.

Firewood for open fires in the fire ring is FREE when its available.

What we do NOT provide is food, beverages, charcoal, propane gas for stove or more than the 2 complimentary bottles of water in the fridge. If you happen to forget charcoal there is a box with some charcoal and lighter fluid out back in grilling area that you can purchase for $10. And if you ever have any problems or questions about anything in the grilling area please txt us and let us know and we will take care of it right away. We do not provide laundry service. There is a local laundromat 13 miles away.

****** Extra guests: This room accommodates 2 adults nicely. Or max of 3 total guests. There is twin size floor mattress with sheets, pillows and a big fluffy blanket in the walk-in-closet for the third guest. An extra guest is $10 extra per person per night. All guests must be over 18 unless preapproved by us in advance.

FOR YOUR SECURITY AND PERSONAL PROTECTION: We have installed a digital access control lock on the front door so you can enter and exit and not have any contact from us or anyone while you are here. You will be totally secluded and have no contact with anyone if that's your choosing during your stay here. For added safety we have security cams watching the entrance to the property and along the driveway to the covered parking area. There is NO cam coverage of guest porch or the backyard grilling area but its totally safe due to the driveway coverage area. The safety and protection of our guests is paramount and we make every effort to keep you safe while you are here.

PARKING: There is one space of covered parking available for guests. if a second spot is needed it would be uncovered but would be on premises and parking is free. Please park in designated spaces. **** If more than 2 spaces will be needed please call in advance to let us know.

A FEW RULES:

This is a NON-SMOKING room

* A MAX of 3 guests. The primary renter needs to meet a minimum age requirement of 21. No children under 18 without prior approval.

* If you smoke, whether cigarettes or anything else please do so outside, this includes incense too.

* No hot plates, inside grill, or anything that produces heat is not allowed in cabin. There is to be NO cooking of any kind on the front porch. All cooking is to be done out back at the grilling area. The only cooking allowed in cabin is with the microwave or toaster that is provided.

*** The person that books the cabin MUST be the main guest that occupies the cabin during the time of the stay.

***Unless preapproved in advance by hosts.

*** No cleaning of fish here on the property. We just are not set up for that and have no way of disposing of the fish guts and remains. If you wish to cook the fish you catch at the lake we request that you clean them at the lake and dispose of the guts/remains there at the lake.

*** Parties are not permitted. We really are not set up to handle a group of people arriving here to have dinner parties or the like.

*** Any damages to the cabin or property to be paid for by guest.

*Sorry, No pets allowed.

**** Failure to abide by the rules will result in being asked to vacate the cabin immediately and no refund will be given.

If you need to charge your EV car or truck, this includes all hybrids as well there is $15 a day charger for that.
