Welcome to Chez Harlene, a peaceful two-bedroom, two-bathroom retreat surrounded by nature on the shores of a quiet lake. With comfortable indoor living spaces, a large games room and private waterfront access, the home is an inviting destination for couples, families or friends looking to relax and reconnect.
Chez Harlene is a new vacation-rental listing professionally managed by Link’D Property Team. Although the property may not yet have an extensive guest-review history, our experienced local team is available to help make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.
THE HOME
The main level features a bright, open-concept kitchen, dining and living area. This central gathering space makes it easy to prepare meals, dine together and relax after a day by the lake.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a refrigerator, electric range, microwave and dishwasher, along with cookware, dishes and other everyday essentials.
Both bedrooms are located on the main level. A full bathroom and convenient in-home laundry facilities are also located on this floor.
Downstairs, guests will find an expansive games room that provides a second living and recreation space with plenty of room to spread out. A second full bathroom is also located on this level. The basement wood stove and designated storage areas are not available for guest use.
The home includes Wi-Fi, television, heating and air conditioning. A heat pump provides year-round comfort, with electric baseboard heating available when additional warmth is needed.
OUTDOOR SPACE AND WATERFRONT
A private pathway leads from the home to the lake, shoreline, dock and boathouse. Spend a quiet afternoon beside the water, relax on the dock or enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings.
Registered guests may enter the designated guest-accessible areas of the boathouse. However, watercraft, tools, equipment and other belongings stored by the owner are not included as guest amenities and must not be used, moved or removed.
No watercraft, life jackets or other water-safety equipment are provided. Guests may bring their own lawful watercraft and properly fitted personal flotation devices. All lake and watercraft activities are undertaken at the guest’s own risk and are subject to weather, water conditions and applicable laws.
Outside the home, guests can prepare meals on the propane barbecue and gather around the outdoor propane firepit. The firepit is provided for propane use only—wood and other materials must not be burned in it.

A RURAL LAKESIDE SETTING
Chez Harlene is located in a peaceful rural area approximately 30 kilometres from Yarmouth. The setting offers privacy, dark night skies and convenient access to local trails, provincial parks, beaches, coastal landmarks and Yarmouth’s working waterfront.
As with any rural waterfront property, guests should expect natural terrain, insects, wildlife and changing weather and shoreline conditions. Some outdoor surfaces may be wet, slippery or uneven. Guests should bring suitable footwear and use additional caution after dark and during poor weather.
Cellular service may be limited or unreliable near the property. Guests should download their arrival directions before travelling and enable Wi-Fi Calling on their mobile devices before arrival. There is no landline at the home.
WATERFRONT SAFETY
The lake, shoreline, pathway, dock and boathouse are unsupervised. There is no lifeguard, and water depth and conditions may change.
Children and non-swimmers must remain under direct adult supervision near the water. Diving from the dock or shoreline is not permitted. Guests are responsible for assessing weather, visibility, water conditions and their own abilities before entering or approaching the lake.
Access to the dock and other waterfront features may be affected by seasonal conditions, weather, water levels or maintenance requirements.
WELL WATER, SEPTIC SYSTEM AND WATER CONSERVATION
The home is supplied by a private well and uses a septic system. Water conservation is important, particularly during periods of dry weather.
Guests are asked to:
Keep showers to a reasonable length
Avoid leaving taps running unnecessarily
Operate the dishwasher and washing machine only with full loads
Space out high-water-use activities when possible
Promptly report running toilets, dripping faucets or suspected leaks
Only toilet paper and human waste may be flushed. Wipes—including products labelled “flushable”—feminine hygiene products, paper towel, grease, food waste and other materials must not enter the septic system.
INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
Chez Harlene is professionally managed by Link’D Property Team. Guests will enjoy a private, self-guided stay, and no host or property manager lives on-site.
Our local team is available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to assist with general questions, local recommendations and non-urgent concerns. For urgent property-related issues that cannot reasonably wait until regular business hours, guests have access to 24/7 emergency support.
Our office is located in downtown Yarmouth, and local assistance can be arranged when an on-site response is required. Because the property is in a rural location, response times may vary depending on staff availability, weather and road conditions.
For a fire, medical emergency or immediate threat to personal safety, guests must call 911.
