The hotel said they would pic us up from the ferry terminal but it took serval attempts of calling to get a ride. The check in process was slow and the room still had socks and stuff from the previous guests. We asked for a ride and the hotel concierge was annoyed about taking us even after the front desk offered it.

Check in was slow and somewhat unprofessional. The room was hot but fortunately the window could be opened to cool it off, but we hated to waste the heat. The room is showing signs of age. The bathroom could have been cleaned up with some elbow grease and time. We did not eat in the restaurants because of the prices. Ketchikan has fallen to the cruise ship industry and has raised prices generally to gouge the tourists at the sake of locals. Before The Landing was sold there used to be a $10/guest coupon for each guest at breakfast. That is now 20% per person. After years of loyalty to this hotel we will probably be taking our business elsewhere in the future.
