CONSTRUCTION NOTICE- Balcony Restoration Project – 1800 Atlantic
Start Date: May 2025-Estimated Completion: Spring 2026
Please be advised that a balcony restoration project will be underway at 1800 Atlantic from May 2025 through Spring 2026.
Important Notes:
-Units available for booking will not be under construction.
-All amenities, including the pool, spa, and sunning beach, will remain open and fully operational throughout the project.


This condo has been beautifully renovated. Both bedrooms and the living room open onto a spacious 40 ft private balcony. There is a
King Bed in the Master bedroom and 2 twin beds in the guest bedroom.

1800 Atlantic is directly on the Atlantic ocean in Key West, adjacent to Smathers Beach the City Beach with a variety of watersports activities available.

The property itself features assigned secure parking spaces, 3 lighted tennis courts, one of which is the only clay court in Town. There are beautiful botanical gardens with picnic and BBQ areas.

The Olympic size heated pool sits on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, There is also a 20 person bubbling Jacuzzi tub. There is also a sauna and small fitness center by the pool.

This condo truly embodied the Key West charm with a touch of vintage beach vibes. The host was easy to communicate with and made the check-in process seamless. The condo itself was spotlessly clean and offered a comfortable, relaxing environment.The grounds were beautiful, and the pool was top-notch, with an unbeatable front-row seat to the stunning East Atlantic view. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the scenery.The location was another huge plus – close to Smathers Beach and just a short drive to Duval Street, so you can enjoy the best of Key West with ease. Whether you’re looking to explore or simply relax, this place is a winner!

The property was just as explained and the view was beautiful! Very nice, clean, and close enough to the Duval St. area! We enjoyed a few short Uber rides and a quick walk to local beaches. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook tor the family. Would highly recommend to anyone and bring our family back to stay!

We had a fabulous visit! Great condo, exactly as advertised. It had everything we needed including lots of bath and beach towels. View was incredible!! Beautiful landscaping and great pool. The master bedroom bed was so comfortable….much appreciated. One small issue - ice maker was empty and made little ice. We just picked up a big bag from Publix which worked great for whole stay. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Great location. The balcony is reason enough to stay here. Well equipped kitchen, baths, towels, etc. A bit dated, but well maintained and clean. We’d stay again for sure!!

Very nice unit, super clean. Outfitted well with small appliances but could use some more basic kitchen items like microwaveable dishes and larger coffee mugs. Ice maker didn’t work but Kirk brought us a large bag of ice and saved the day! Very nice pool!

Beautiful property- Condo was great size for 4 adults. Kitchen was nice and big. Balcony was huge.

Property was beautiful with the view of the ocean, the garden and the pool. Kitchen was clean and big. Balcony was amazing- the whole length of the condo. Only negative was the parking space was very tight unless you have a compact car.

Roomy, Relaxing, and an Iguana Named Steve!

We had an awesome stay at Tom’s Chicken Coop! Tons of space to stretch out, comfy seating galore, and a kitchen that practically begged us to cook (even if we mostly used it for blending margaritas). The beds? Cloud-level comfy. We may have considered not leaving.The location is spot-on—super easy access to downtown and just steps from the beach. But the real MVP? The massive deck and our unexpected (but very chill) iguana visitor who we affectionately named Steve. He really brought that tropical vibe full circle.If you’re looking for a laid-back, well-located island escape with plenty of room and personality—this is it. We’d book again in a heartbeat... especially if Steve’s still around.

Great spot - would stay again!

The condo was so quiet and nice compared to the other side of the island. It was nice being close to Smathers Beach and the airport, plus we could walk to some other good spots. We also loved the pool.

6 night get away! Loved the pool/patio every afternoon! Pool is heated and warm. Under bldg secure parking for one mid-size. Well appointed unit, clean as a whistle, quiet bldg, master shower can soak the floor so beware of the angle of the shower head! Far enough from down town but not too far a ride.

Nice private beach. Great view. Condo further from the action.

Property is on the east end of Key West, not walking distance to many of the attractions downtown. Parking is sparse if you have a large vehicle. condo is spacious and clean but really only sleeps four comfortably (pull out is a typical old style). Beach are is a great perk but pool was overly stocked with chemicals and ruined some of the kids suits. It was an ok experience but for the cost I’d rather stay in a more historic part of the island. If you’re looking for a quiet place away from it all and a spacious condo you’ll be happy here. It just wasn’t the Key West vibe we had hoped for.

Balcony views were excellent!

I did a lot of research before choosing this condo. We loved the balcony and spent a lot of time out there. The view and proximity to the beach and pool were great. The location to Smathers Beach was perfect for our family. Coming from the northeast, it was really special to be surrounded by crystal clear water (so warm too) and white sand. We were able to walk just a few paces from the pool to the beach. It was so convenient. The condo was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. The pool wasn’t crowded at all and there were always chairs available in the sun or shade. The other guests were pleasant and considerate. We had a rental car, but used Uber to go into town because parking was expensive. I’m so glad we didn’t rent on/or around Duval. It was fun to walk around that area, but were preferred the peace and views at the condo. Plus, it was only a short drive to Duval. If it hadn’t been so hot, we would’ve walked. We had a really nice trip. I highly recommend Tom’s Chicken Coop.

Great place off the beaten path

Our family of 5 (3 adult kids) really enjoyed our stay. It was about a 30-40 minute walk to Duval and a $10 Uber XL. The slight inconvenience of being a little bit of a ways from Duval was more than made up by the calm and peace we felt, the beautiful view, being able to walk to Smathers Beach, friendly neighbors and staff and a beautiful pool and hot tub. We had an issue with smoke smell and the response was prompt and they did a treatment within an hour of notifying them. Highly recommend! We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Key West!

Love the place. Got ghosted before check-in

The place was great. Loved the location and beach on site. The hot tub and heated pool were great. Only about ten minute drive to Duval St. However, I got no communication about how to check in. I messaged the host about how to check in and got no response. When we arrived luckily the office lady was really nice and helped me to get into the condo. She said she was not supposed to do that but was so nice to help us anyway. If it had not been for her we would have been stranded in the Keys with a 4 month old and 70 year old with no place to to stay.

Scuba Adventure

My friends and I go on an scuba adventure every Veteran's Day weekend. This time we chose Key West and Toms Chicken Coop. We had an amazing time and the condo was outstanding. The view is awesome! The condo has lots of space and is super clean. We didn't use the pool area but it looked incredible. I would highly recommend this place.
