The hotel itself is OK. In need of a few improvements in the rooms. Our toilet had no seat but we were offered a meal on the house to compensate. The breakfast was lovely and plenty of it but the bar food is not whats advertised on the website. Kids playroom beside the bar is handy.over all we enjoyed our stay thanks to the lovely staff that looked after us so well.

Short break in kilkee

We went to the kilkee bay hotel for a two night break. It was very enjoyable. The hotel was very quiet. The breakfast was very good. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Rooms and towels changed everyday. The staff are excellent. The receptionistswere very pleasant and friendly. The only fault I had was the residents bar. None the first night and only got one drink the 2nd night. This was because it was so quiet. It didn't pay to keep it open for 2 customers.
