Great little hotel with lots of history. Stayed there with International Kilkenny Chess Tournament was taking place. Was entertaining. 😁 The staff were really friendly and helpfull. Coffee could be stronger 😉 One request, You could identify parking before arrival. Make check-in easier.

This hotel is a gem! We stayed in one of the recently renovated rooms and it was lovely! The bed is super comfy so we slept very well. The bathroom has been updated beautifully as well. Quiet, clean, and fantastic AC/heater. Also, the hotel is within easy walking distance of Kilkenny Castle, shops, cafes, etc. Private car park is onsite and convenient. The staff is outstanding! They surprised us with a delicious selection of desserts waiting for us in our room for our anniversary! That was an unexpected surprise! And Jean in the onsite restaurant was so warm and welcoming. Thank you for a lovely stay… highly recommend to anyone visiting Kilkenny!

It is an old Victorian house, so it is not a new or remodeled property, however is clean and has good clean bedding and a decent shower. Breakfast could offer more options but it was good.

Perfect location to explore Kilkenny. Hotel is authentic so a bit dated but that is to be expected in an historical property. Room was clean and comfortable. Cooked to order breakfast was perfect.

I appreciate the location being so close to main tourist area. Be aware of the time you are arriving as there is a very large school across the street which can be extremely difficult to navigate with so many pedestrians. The room was newly renovated and clean. Entrance to the room was outside the main hotel which was actually appreciated. The bar was good as was the restaurant for breakfast. Very charming hotel that has kept much of its history.
