The ultimate ski retreat! This secluded 2220 sq ft. timberframe home sits at the top of Trailview Drive in Killington. Located only 200’ (down a skiable path) to Killington’s Homestretch ski trail which leads down to the Skyeship Express Gondola. Walk or ski from this mountain retreat on an almost 1 acre secluded and private lot. Enter the home via a mudroom perfect for shedding your outdoor gear and equipment.

This house sleeps 8 people legally (and comfortably) with 8 beds, no pets allowed. The first level is an open space featuring a kitchen with breakfast peninsula, large dining area and a comfortable living room with a raised hearth with woodstove. Two doors, one from the dining area and one from the living area access the large and private outdoor deck. A 1/2 bath rounds out the main level of the home.

Soaring vaulted ceilings highlight the woodwork and post and beam construction of the house and an open staircase leads to a large loft with several sky lights, a beautiful space utilized for sleeping guests with 4 twin beds.

The lower level of the home contains three bedrooms (one with a queen, one with a double, and one with two twins), two full bathrooms, a large sauna along with a laundry area.

Home has full kitchen equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal. Home includes Wifi and has streaming TV in the living room and loft.

Ski life does not get any better than this!

Note: Trail is accessed via walk or ski on a 200' marked straight wooded path. Connecting path is natural snow conditions so be aware and ski at your own risk. Homestretch Trail is a Blue Intermediate trail. Alternatively, you can walk down the driveway and enter the Homestretch Trail from the bridge that is 30 yards from the house. If Homestretch or Carpenters are closed you can drive 5 minutes down to Bear Mountain, or 8 minutes to Snowshed/Ramshead.

PS: This is a very highly rated home with tenants that consistently return. Our realtor retired so they disabled the former VRBO account which is why this listing only has one year of reviews. Guests love the easy access to skiing without dealing with parking and lugging equipment. They love the beautiful property, wood stove, and charming rustic timberframe interior, great dining, and huge loft.

Fantastic house in a fantastic location

We had an amazing stay! House was amazing and Michael was super friendly and communicative. The house was right off a trail which for an amazing ski experience.Short ride to town and was even able to use a shuttle so that we didn't need to drive. Would absolutely stay again.

Perfect Ski House

I had an amazing stay at this gorgeous home. Just a short walk to home stretch trail. Very spacious and a much better set up than some of the 2 and 3 bedroom condos which I have rented in the past. Amazing woodburning fireplace, beautiful deck, loved the sleeping loft, we had four little kids up there and they loved it, lots of space on the ground level and nice layout and sleeping options in the bedrooms downstairs. Mike the owner was super responsive, easy to talk with and very helpful. Extra bonus points to him for sending me some electronics including a computer we accidentally left behind which arrived a day later. I would highly recommend the home to my friends and would stay there again!

Great House, Great Location

This is a beautiful house, and it’s proximity to a ski trail , less than 100’, makes this an ideal in mountain stay. The house is comfortable, with good cooking facilities and a lovely sauna. Only a quick spin to the main strip in Killington means you have the best of both worlds. Looking forward to staying here again!

We have been going to Killington for years but finally stayed in a house instead of a condo and it was a good choice. This house was prefect for what we needed. It also had everything we need to cook in and enjoy where we where staying instead of going out every night. Would stay here again for sure.

AMAZING place

We had a group of friends stay here for a ski weekend and had the best time ever. The house is cozy ski vibes. The wood stove was amazing and super easier to operate with plenty of firewood outside. The house had so much room yet still felt cozy. The bedrooms were spacious and the loft was perfect for additional sleeping. The ski on ski off was not up and running due to limited snow but we made the trek to the gondola and had so many good laughs on the walk. The host was super accommodating and responses were very timely. Overall the place was perfect for a ski weekend, will definitely try and stay here again!
