Beach Front Coastal Retreat with Sea Views
A rare find! A light, spacious, coastal bungalow nestled right on the beach in the lovely quiet village of North Hallsands in S Devon. Driftwood looks down onto a golden beach surrounded by Sea Oats, lapped by crystal clear waters. Sitting right on the beautiful South West Coast path, up-coast from the mysterious lost village of South Hallsands with its fascinating history this well equipped three bedroom holiday retreat is great for walkers, swimmers or beach lovers.
The space
The Space
Entire bungalow. Light and airy with laid back feel.
Lounge is spacious and relaxed, with seating for 6-8, large windows all round and a telescope to bring that beach even nearer!
Fitted kitchen with all expected appliances, coffee machine, crockery and utensils and dining table. Large fridge and freezer.
Dining room adjoining lounge with large table and sea views.
Master bedroom has king size bed, wardrobe, and chest of drawers. Second room has a double bed with wardrobe and chest of drawers and also enough room for travel cot if needed. Third bedroom has fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers and two twin single beds. The two front bedrooms have fantastic sea views.
Immaculate family bathroom with shower over bath and toilet. Separate toilet.
Check in is from 3pm. Check out by 10.30am. Check in/out day is Saturday in main school holidays. Outside of holidays, flexible check in/out days and minimum 3 night stay.
Bookings for a minimum of 7 days and in 7 day blocks, only bookings of 7, 14, 21 or 28 days are available in high summer season.
For dates out of school holidays, minimum 3 night booking, with varying check in /out day.
Benefits from south facing aspect so you can enjoy the sun throughout the day. There are sea views from the garden and restricted views from the southerly facing rooms within the property.
At cooler times of year there is central heating throughout the bungalow.
Ample garden with space for children to play, or to sit and relax.
Private driveway with parking for up to 4 cars.
There is no smoking in the house and we do not accept pets.
Check out by 10.30am and check in from 3pm. Check in/out day is Saturday. 7 night minimum booking in summer months. From mid September to mid December minimum stay 3 nights.
Guest access
Guests have sole access to the entire bungalow, garden and driveway and may use all facilities in the property.
There are books and family games within the property and some garden games for you to enjoy.
Interaction with guests
There is a lock box so you can easily check yourselves in, but we will ensure we are contactable via mobile and email and someone locally is available to help with any problems if they arise.
