I was worried to book a room through Expedia. We have always called and booked a room through the hotel to make sure we had harbour front for the Kingston Poker Run. We took a chance and had the best room in 10 years of going there. The check in and out was super fast. No problems at all.

Was disappointed with the check in time, my notifications from Expedia were 3:00 pm, however, the hotel when trying to check in indicated it was 4 o’clock, and the rooms weren’t ready. It would’ve been nice to have notification of the change of check-in times.

right on the waterfront, can walk to all important amenities... convenience store, cafes, restaurants, shops, salons, gorgeous waterfront area with tonnes of seating area, parking was pricey but extremely convenient and was worth the price as it's right there and you can go and go as you please with ease. our room was RIGHT by the elevator and I was worried it would be noisy with all the foot traffic...it wasn't , the room was nice and quiet. the pool is clean and renovated and has million dollar views, feel like you are actually out on the lake. breakfast buffet was extremely affordable and good variety. two of my kids ate free which made the bill crazy low. it was one of the better quality breakfast buffets we have been to. wasn't a massive spread, but it was quality food not powdered eggs etc. Waitress Sunny was more than attentive and super professional. Will be back, my kids were thrilled. The robot was cool!

The check in was amazing and the staff are fantastic. I was on the 4th floor and it smelled strongly of chlorine and when I got into my room, it smelled very much like body odour. The washroom was not clean either the shower stall still had a dirty glass.

Overall a nice stay. Only negative was the bathroom sink faucet had very little room To place your hands underneath it. Good for my toothbrush!! Also the water pressure under it was very low. Not a good combination.

A lovely way to enjoy waterfront Kingston

The only issue we had with cleanliness was that they did not appear to sweep the balcony as there were a few items left over from the previous guest. Also, our shower stall could have used a better scrubbing. Bed was extremely comfortable; harbor views were fantastic. Staff extremely pleasant and professional

Check-in was extremely slow and at 3PM (check-in time for the hotel) they had one clerk working at one of the desks and one other clerk that floated around with a frown on her face that just teased guests in the hopes she would begin to check them in, but rather and frequently just walked off to return a few moment later to do nothing. Hotel policy seemed to be to park large diesel buses beneath the balconys of the Southeast side of the building and allow them to idle there with no regard to the diesel fumes entering the rooms through both balcony doors and fresh air vents, nor the disturbance the noise caused. When questioned about it and asked to make it stop, the staff on the scene laughed at guests from two different rooms. Even upon check-out, when the issue was brought up, the front desk staff was very cavalier about it. Unfortunately, the mgmt of this property and their attitude to returning guests seems to have changed, so as a result, so will our choice of hotels.

The property itself is excellent. Staff is excellent. We would’ve liked to have a clean balcony with no spiderwebs, we would’ve liked to have two face cloths per room each day rather than just one, we would’ve loved to have toilet and tissue paper every day. The parking is $30 a day and we were unaware of that we find that very steep, they tell us that it’s on the website however it just says that there’s a fee for parking. Nowhere does it say $30 a day. We would’ve loved to have known this information we may have chosen a different place to park. The hotel itself and the accommodations were excellent. Very happy with our stay even if we have some negatives there.
