My experience at this Howard Johnson was not good. I had to leave a day early on a three night booking, and was promised, but never received, a refund for the last night. I had spotty wifi access the first night, which did not bother me too much. However, the next day, I could not access the internet at all. I reported the problem to the man at the desk, who came to my room and tested it on his phone, which seemed to work OK. He said the ISP had just fixed some issues and he would be calling them ISP to get the problem fixed. The next day I still had no access. Before leaving for the day, I was told that the ISP would be looking at the issue again. I also discovered that the wifi was odd and only worked within each room in the motel. My devices worked fine elsewhere, just not here. After a day of sightseeing, I returned to find that there was still no wifi in my room. I told the man at the desk that I could not stay another night without internet access and that I was leaving. I asked for a refund for the last night and was told that I would have to ask for it through Expedia since they could not otherwise process it. I agreed. Since then I have not received a refund, even after multiple requests. I feel robbed and this cast a big shadow on my little relax trip to Kingston. Very unprofessional, I obviously will never stay there again.

Property old and beaten down, just some facelift paint job. "Breakfast included" is false advertisement, just a coffee machine and a few muffins, cereal bars and yogurt in a small fridge in the lobby. No protein or any warm food nor a place to eat. Whatever you want, you have to carry back to your room but they don't even provide a tray.

The room was clean, adequate and functional. What I didn't like was, I opted for a ground floor room as I was travelling with a heavy case and there was no elevator. (building is low rise.) There were no net curtains so people were passing and could see right into my room which was rather invasive so I had to keep my curtains permanently closed. The staff on reception, Sonny in particular, were extremely polite ,helpful and friendly.

The night staff that checked us in he is great and very helpful, the room is clean and acceptable, the AC is ok and not sure about the breakfast yet until we try in in the morning. I was told that it is just a grab and go snack so i will not expect too much, but something is better than nothing.

One of the nicest motels I have stayed in in a long time! Our room was newly renovated, nicely furnished with a bit of a retro vibe and impeccably clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We'll come back!

The staff werereal friendly and helpful. There was no restaurants around the area and things were not walking distance. We booked a queen size bed and was given a double bed. They advertise breakfast which included muffin, yogurt , bananas, oranges,apples coffee and tea. Even though the room was clean i would rate it a 2 star.
