Wow! Melissa was great with getting back to me about the questions I had. We had a hurricane coming up. I was worried, I didn’t want it to be a total washout or unsafe She got back with me right away and was willing to even change the dates she was great. We were scheduled for two weeks. She let me change the second week to next year. She was great. I wish all the owners were as accommodating as her.

Family vacation

The owner was always quick to respond to us when we had questions. We loved the outside shower. The beds were very comfortable, and although we were close to Route 158, we could not hear the traffic and we all slept very good. We would definitely stay there, again.

Great location!

We are a family of 3 but also had our puppy along. The house was spacious! Location is 2 blocks walk to the beach and close to severel restaurants. It had all the cooking utensils, spices, odds & ends like coffee filters etc (which was a nice surprise). Better than expected and owner kept good communication.

A Hidden Gem

This house was lovely and clean- the pictures in the listing do not do it justice! Each guest room was neat and a decent size and there were so many beds, so you can sleep quite a few people here! We loved having a washer and dryer. This was one of the most well-stocked kitchens I have ever had at a beach house- adequate serving utensils, mixing bowls, pans, etc. The location is north in Kitty Hawk, so you get to house almost immediately after turning onto N Croatan Highway. It is about a 5 minute walk to the beach and you have to cross the beach road (without a crosswalk). The owners were excellent to communicate with.

Great vacation home!

We loved staying at this property. It was close to all the stores we were interested in visiting, just a short walk to the beach, and we were able to bring our dogs. Loved it! Will stay again!

Home away from home

This house accommodated all of our needs. We cooked dinner each night and ate together at the table. We were able to wash our clothes and dishes. We were able to sweep and mop each day. The outside shower and bathrooms with handheld shower heads help to rinse the sand. The house has everything!! It was an easy walk to the beach, especially using the wagon to carry your things. Watching the sunrise while drinking coffee was the perfect start to each day. The house is located close to stores, restaurants, and attractions. Loved every moment of our stay!!!

Great beach house for the price

Perfect location. Near many places to eat and shop. 2 blocks from the beach. Plenty of beach items to use. The owner was very quick to respond to questions. The place has a little age to it but it was nothing major to me. Just as a note if you think you want a perfect place.

OBX family vaca

This was our first time on a big family vacation, in a house. So much better than a hotel. Comforts of home were the best part for me. The house was roomy, 4 bedroms and 2 bathrooms: more than enough room. Had alot of boardgames in the closets...game night!!! The kids especially loved the outside shower (actually argued a few times on who was going to get in first)...the adults loved the outside shower also as when the kids came back from the beach (2 short blocks away) they could shower off the sand! Would totally recommend this house for a family vacation!
