Decent Budget Stay with Room for Improvement – ★★★☆☆
Stayed at Best Western Plus Tsim Sha Tsui for a few nights. The location is definitely the highlight — right in the heart of Kowloon with easy access to MTR, buses, and taxis or Uber right at the doorstep. For the price, it’s a fair deal, especially if you’re not too picky and just need a place to crash.
That said, the room itself left a lot to be desired. The windows were oddly placed high up and looked out onto nothing, which made the space feel more cramped. The bed was quite small for two people, and the room overall felt tight. Cleanliness was just about acceptable — not spotless, but tolerable. Several fixtures were in poor condition: the water kettle had a broken lid, the toilet seat felt like it was on its last legs, and most of the furnishings seemed overdue for replacement or upgrade.
If you’re traveling on a tight budget and prioritize location over comfort, this place might work. But if you’re looking for a more comfortable or modern stay, you may want to explore other options.
