Tommy always makes you feel at home, a great place to stay if you want to experience Kyoto like a local. The guesthouse is minutes away from both metro an JR stations, there are businesses, convenience stores, public baths and everything you need to feel at home.

Everything was fine. However we aren't used to small spaces before. And while staying in the room we felt a bit cramped. Although we knew about this in advance-we had read about small spaces in Japanese hotels in magazine before our trip to Japan. One the other hand, we loved traditional atmosphere.

毎朝のサンドイッチ、無料の飲み物が嬉しい反面24時間オープンなのは少し不安でした。二階に上がるのに急な階段なので個室利用の方は大変かと思います。ドミトリーは一階で便利でした。ドミトリー部屋のドアにも鍵はなく、貴重品は鍵付きの小さいロッカーに入れます。部屋が狭いので荷物の整理などは少し工夫が必要です。

オーナーがしっかり気を使っていただき、常に清潔で快適に滞在できる空間を作ってくれている。会話も楽しく、朝食のサンドイッチも最高だ。昼間の時間には滞在不可なのはネックで、チェックインが5時なのもちょっと大変だが、それ以上のものがここにはある。次に来た時もまた是非お世話になろうと思う。一押しの宿である。

はじめてのゲストハウス。最高でした。

初めてのゲストハウスということもあり、着くまで不安と緊張でいっぱいでした。しかしフロントでTommyさんが暖かく迎えてくださり、その緊張が一気になくなりました。 チェックインからチェックアウトまで「何かお困りごとないですか？」と逐一聞いていただけたので不安なく一夜を過ごせました。 本当に暖かく迎えていただきました。また機会があれば是非とも利用したいゲストハウスでした。

嵐山や園部・亀岡・太秦に平安神宮などなど、京都にどっぷり浸かって観光する足掛かりに最高の場所。交通の便は悪そうに見えますがかなり良いです。京都大阪からはJRも良いですが、阪急大宮から歩くのも悪くありません。 サービスもかなり良く、部屋も清潔で、経営されてる努力と愛情が伝わってきます。とても良いです。 自炊派なら近くに自然派の京都コープと、安さと量で強いサンディの2件があります。 時間の縛りはありますが、御近所付き合いと考えると、まさに京都二条の親戚のおうちでお泊まりするという感じでした。 またただいまと言いに行きたいですね。
