We absolutely loved our stay! We were treated so well, they were attentive to every need and so helpful! We enjoyed a Koto concert, tea ceremony, traditional Japanese breakfast, loved our room, there is a Public Bath, and it’s a quick walk to the Family Mart! They even gave me a little gift for my birthday. Highly recommend!

Super Ryokan in Kyoto

This is such a lovely hotel, it being clean and staff are friendly. We were completely immersed into the Japanese culture where we were offered the typical Kyoto breakfast (there is a small fee to pay for breakfast ) and experienced the tea ceremony. The hotel also offer free 2h walking tour and a 30 min Koto performance.

This was a very special stay for us. Anyone going to Japan should spend some time at a Ryokan. This one in particular was spectacular. You’re greeted with a breath-taking view of the garden when walking in, the staff were all very friendly and spoke great English. The western and Japanese breakfasts were both delicious. The tea ceremony was in particular very special for my wife and I. I was surprised how tranquil the ryokan is even though it’s sort of in the heart of Kyoto. We enjoyed our stay

We loved our stay here. The ryokan is a quaint and warm building with a lovely staff. The meals were excellent and it was easy to visit other places in Kyoto from the convenient location.
