Breakfast portions were very small. Room with 4 beds for 4 people was small. No luggage space - had to wait for someone to be done with luggage to pass through to washroom etc

You can't go wrong with Japan, or Kyoto. Almost any place is good, but this toyoko inn is at a very good location, and the bus stop is a short 100 m walk. About 2 miles from Kiyomizutera, and nijo-jo area.
