Ideally located in Étang Salé (97427), a few minutes walk from the shops in the city center and the forest, less than 10 minutes by car from the beach, and close to the major tourist sites of the west, the cirques, and the south of the island.

Built on one level on a private plot of 700m2 planted with numerous palm trees and tropical vegetation, you can enjoy a large, well-exposed infinity pool with no overlooked views and a superb panoramic view of the coastline. A large veranda and a barbecue area will allow you to spend unforgettable moments and you will appreciate the 4 bedrooms with quality bedding to rest after your days of sightseeing.

ACCOMMODATION
Approximately 145m2 usable excluding terrace, comprising a living room, large veranda, kitchen, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and two toilets, it can comfortably accommodate 8 adults + 2 children on the children's beds on the mezzanine of bedroom 2.

INTERIOR, on one level:
Large veranda of 40m2 with dining area and lounge facing the swimming pool and garden, superb panoramic view of the coastline;
Beautiful, recent, fully-equipped kitchen (oven, gas hob, American fridge, microwave, dishwasher, teapot, coffee machine, crockery and utensils) with bar overlooking the veranda and open to the living room;
Living room with comfortable sofas and very large 4K smart TV, air mixer and beautiful volumes under the ceiling, dining area, open to the kitchen and the veranda with large sliding bay windows;
Equipped laundry room (washing machine, dryer, sink and laundry basket);
WC separated;
3 air-conditioned bedrooms with queen-size beds and dressing room, including a master bedroom with its own Italian shower room and WC, and one with a mezzanine and two additional children's beds;
1 non-air-conditioned bedroom with two single beds, dressing room, fan and office area;

From the garden, terrace and veranda, you can enjoy a superb 180° panoramic view of the coastline, you can notably see many local birds (Mauritius blackbirds, papangues, cardinal, tec-tec, tropicbirds...), as well as lizards and margouillas, but also, during the season, spot whales jumping from afar!

SECURITY
The swimming pool is equipped with a standard immersion alarm system, but is not supervised or surrounded by fences, its use is under the sole and entire responsibility of the traveler(s).
The car park is equipped with a video surveillance camera and an automatic lighting system, very practical when you arrive at night;
LOCATION AND ENVIRONMENT
Villa Acacias is located in a quiet and sought-after residential area of Etang Salé les Hauts.
Ideal altitude of 50m, allowing you to enjoy the trade wind air and easy access on foot in less than 5 minutes to the city center (shopping center, restaurants, bakeries, doctors, pharmacies, banks, butcher, wine merchant, bike rental, etc.)) and the forest (health trail, mountain bike trails, hiking trail, 18-hole Étang Salé golf course, stables);
Less than 10 minutes from the superb beach of Étang Salé, with its supervised part, its "lagoon" part of Bassin Pirogue, and its wild part lined with filaos. You will also find a diving club and water activities.
Strategic location to visit the island, less than 10 minutes from the Tamarins road allowing you to move around easily and discover the west coast (Saint Gilles, La Saline, Saint Leu, Étang Salé, many beaches, Mascareignes botanical garden, Maïdo, Domaine des Milles Cocos, Domaine du Café Grillé, Stella Matutina Museums, Kélonias Farm, Turtle Garden, Croc Parc, Zoo, paragliding in Saint Leu etc ...), the cirques and the heights of the island (Les Makes, Cilaos, Mafate, Entre Deux, Tévelave), and the south (Saint Pierre its beaches and its market, Grande Anse, Manapany, Langevin, the lava flows, Sainte Rose, Plaine des Cafres, Piton de la Fournaise volcano etc ....) !
Parties and events of any kind are not allowed in the villa (out of respect for the neighbors, quiet and residential area). Entirely non-smoking villa inside, ashtrays are available if necessary outside.
Not accessible to people with reduced mobility.
CAUTION:
For stays of 4 nights, a deposit by bank imprint of €1,500 will be requested via the secure online solution Stripe. The bank imprint is automatically lifted at the end of your stay when the accommodation is returned without incident.
For stays longer than 4 nights, in addition to the Stripe deposit which is only valid for 5 days, a deposit check of €2,500 will be requested on the day of your arrival. It will not be cashed and will be torn up at the end of your stay when the accommodation has been returned without incident.
NB: As of today, 28/12/2024, this is still our main residence. We will leave it in March 2025 and we are currently in the process of improvement work (purchase of new bedding sets made, resumption of painting in progress, equipment and decoration), in order to be able to offer you quality services to enjoy your vacation.

Also, please disregard in particular the current appearance of rooms 2, 3 and 4, they are currently being improved, updated photos will be published as the work progresses.
